I hate to say it, but the DCEU is making the some of the visual aspects of the Nolan trilogy look so horrible

look at our new Batcave or the new Batsuit compared to the old one, it's a joke. The tumbler still holds up for sure, and as do the visual appearances of the villains. I especially can't wait to see the DCEU Scarecrow if they decide to do him, Murphy's Scarecrow was well acted, but i think they could've done a far better job with the costume.

That's because Snyder can go all out with a stylistic comic book approach. Nolan's visuals were very much grounded and in a way it made it feel REAL. You felt Batman was there, fighting amongst a metropolitan city and fighting against the corrupt institutions we face today.

This is a more comic book accurate approach so we can go for an all out fantastical look. But the issue with this is sometimes it can look video gamey.

I was trying to remember the place since it been long time ago that I was last in Paris. Now I remember -- it's La Défense mall.

La Défense (the mall). Now I need to go there because it does look epic.

Edit : so apparently there's a small BvS event in that mall until tomorrow. You can get 360° "simulation video selfies" (no idea how to translate this properly) with different scenes and characters, it's free. Also the costumes seem to be there. Okay, tomorrow morning it is.

Probably not. But who cares, she has the oomph. :)

lol yeah I won't question that. I was just making a list of all the professional models, or actress-turned-professional-models in the list of women hired in DCEU films so far. No insult to the women not listed here.

And you know what? Even with me liking TDKT, I cannot argue with you on that.

Keep in mind: I love the Tumbler, the Bat, Batpod, the Batsuits, Joker's look, Catwoman's look, Two Face's and even Bane's. I even liked their approach to Gotham City as a city that is so real, I could go there (and not because it was Chicago, lol), and yes, I liked the Bat Bunker.

But one thing Nolan screwed up on so much was the Batcave. Imagine having so much promise with that design after watching Batman Begins in 2005, only to get....what, two platforms, the same computer from TDK, and a see-through bat case from The Dark Knight Rises in 2012. "shrugs" Come on, dude!

Compare that to the DCEU Batcave, and I love that way more than what Nolan did. Same with the suit, the Batwing, even the Batmobile (though TBH, it's ranked #3 after both the Keaton car (obviously) and the Tumbler; time will tell if that changes).

Finally saw the Director's Cut of Watchmen. 8/10. I liked the original theatrical release well enough, but wasn't in a hurry to rewatch it.

One thing I loved then and love now is Doc Manhattan's origin sequence. Best of any I've seen in a CBM.

agreed with all of this. I also agree that right now, the DCEU Batmobile sits behind Keaton and then the Tumbler, but we have to see it in action to fully decide

I most want to see how Snyder would do Bane. Imagine what kind of beast he would have to be to put this Batman out of commission.

Someone working for the DCEU sure loves models, or they all just happen to be very beautiful women, wanted by both industries

All the good looking actors and especially actresses do some modeling at one point or another. And why would we want ugly Heros and villains

I most want to see how Snyder would do Bane. Imagine what kind of beast he would have to be to put this Batman out of commission.

I would be cool with him getting a guy like the mountain from game of thrones and then increasing his size with cgi tricks or those camera tricks used in lord of the rings to make Gandalf look huge next to frodo.
That would be strictly for his venomed out phase though.

It depends on what you are looking for. IMO, Nolan nailed the real and practical look he was going for in his trilogy. He tried to ground and give a semblance of a believable world, where Batman needed to be as practical as possible. It helped when he very seldom used CGi. That may come off as making the films look boring by comparison, but some like that authenticity to life. For some others, Fong and Snyder are right up their alley with a stylized, comicbook world, where fantastical elements exist. That may not respond to those who would feel the films from Fong and Snyder look too fake for their taste.

Me personally, I like both approaches.

After Batman fighting Superman I want to see this next
