This casting choice of Simmons is absolutely inspired. I couldn't be more on board with it. I agree I hope we get a Gordon that has the full head of white hair and mustache. Snyder is usually visually accurate so there's hope.

Well I agree with you on the subject on other races and culture that are under represented. But it obviously wouldn't focus solely on African-Americans, that's not my point, but as you said there needs to be more diversity.

Except if you actually take into account the League they have confirmed, 3 out of the 6 are already diverse, at this point no more changes for diversity are necessary.

Flash - White
Aquaman - not white/Hawaiian/islander
Wonder Woman - Not white/woman
Cyborg - Not White/Black

and if Mera joins them for this movie that makes 2 women

I know everyone wants Ben to direct Batman, but seeing how Snyder directed the batman scenes in BvS and we've seen watchmen, I wouldn't mind snyder directing one of batman's movies. With terrio or Ben writing, of course. After JL2 that is.

If Snyder directs anything DCEU post JL2 it should be MoS2.

She seems to have completely disappeared off the script too.

While Gotham has done many things right, she was not one of them and I am glad she is gone. It is a shame though that they misused her like they did, in season 2 she and Crispus could have easily been members of the strike force they put together with Renee being the only member of the Strike force to survive and become an entrenched character in the show.

Why are people jumping to conclusions that JL is more Batman centric simply because Jim Gordon had been cast? What about the fact we know the cast includes Amy Adams as Lois Lane and from the BTS pic Snyder posted that there is plenty of Atlanteam presence?
