I said so while ago, when they were still looking for director from that list. I find it much more important for the film than having female director.

Granted, there are men that can write good female characters, but if we're talking about having a woman at any of those two positions, I would go for a scriptwriter.

Rumor is that WW is done really great in BvS. Chris Terrio.

"All-Star Batman and Robin" is actually very fun to read. It is a complete mess, a bastardization of the character and Miller proves there what I thought for years - that he is a talentless, sexist, cheap neo-noir hack, but it is genuinely fun. It is so terrible that I actually enjoyed it immensely.

I'm going to laugh if we get Bigelow, and it took a second time to lock her down. t: Also, all the speculation came cause she is the first name folks think of when it comes to a female director, but it was never confirmed or denied that she met or passed.

I realized that yesterday. I have some irrational fear that we're going back to square one, to the time where Wonder Woman movie couldn't be made for decades.

Of course, we have an actress already cast, so we're not at that stage at all. But the fear doesn't go away. Illogical bastard.

You might be right. It does seem very possible.

After all, they have made the list, it would seem reasonable that they were at least considering second choices from the list at that time.

Yessir. There has been talk WW is done really well in BvS.

Also there was talk back when Terrio was going to hired to write the scripts for the JL films that WB's needed to make him a good offer because he wanted to start directing. Hmm....?

Director gender should not matter, but WB will take some **** if her replacement isn't a woman. They made a big deal about the whole thing in the first place. I actually think a woman writer is far more important to have for WW.

I forget, what is the situation with the screenwriter? Last I heard it was the guy who wrote PAN, but also they were taking scripts/treatments from other writers?

I was confused about it.
