Since we have a thread for good villains, here's one for the worst of the worst. If a good villain is a villain we love to hate, then I guess a bad villain is a villain we uh... hate to hate? Or is it just hate? Hmmm... anyway...

This list is specific to the movies and the performances in them... some of these characters, when presented in another medium or a different film are very cool, but not in these interpretations, IMO.

Anakin Skywalker (Revenge of the Sith)
The Nuclear Man (Superman IV)
Dr. Doom (Fantastic 4)
Mr. Freeze (Batman & Robin)
Two-Face (Batman Forever)
Venom, Sandman and Green Goblin 2 (Spider-Man 3)
Sharon Stone's evil Avon lady character in Crapwoman (don't care enough to look up her name)
General Deckert (XXX: State of the Union)
Xander Drax (The Phantom)

And even though I didn't bother to see it, I'm sure that the characters Matthew Lillard and Ray Liotta play in that "Dungeon Siege" pile of crap are worthy of this list.

Bino from Ghost Rider

Yes, that's Blackheart In Name Only lol.

^^I agree with the 1st post except for Anakin.

Sharon Stone's evil Avon lady character in Crapwoman (don't care enough to look up her name)

LMAO at that quote :funny:

John Travolta in every film he's ever played a villian...

Face/Off
Battlefield Earth
Broken Arrow
Punisher (esp. this one.)

John Travolta's BattleField Earth Character I'm assuming he was the Villian I don't know is name because well do you really blame me for not seeing the movie?

Hahaha, good call guys, all of those!

You can add Mephistopheles and Galactus to that list as neither one of them were as cool as their comic incarnations.

Oh, and how about Dracula in the Van Helsing movie? Boy he ruined that for me.

For me, nothing tops Gothboy Blackheart as the worst villain.

Great thread!

I would say pretty much anyone in any Hollywood movie from the 80s or 90s who has an English accent and wants to take over the world because English people are evil. Mel "**** head" Gibson loves this stuff.

Also, all the villains from "Sin City", who just seemed to be bad because they had the bad gene.

How about Cain from Robocop 2 and whoever the villain was in Robocop 3?

Yeah, and that little bastard kid from the same films.

Or the guy with the moustache and the silly vest from "Commando".

LMAO at that quote :funny:

Glad you liked it, haha.

Some of these are great additions. I can't believe I forgot about Blackheart from Ghost Rider and Dracula from Van Helsing. I guess I was repressing those memories.

Speaking of Richard Roxburgh, I think we have to throw in his awful turn as Moriarty in "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen." Ugh.

Others...
The Crazy Evil Ted Turner character that Jonathan Pryce played in "Tomorrow Never Dies"

Mrs. Coulter in "The Golden Compass"

Glenn Talbot in "Hulk"

Demi Moore's character in "Charlie's Angels 2"

Sandman was awesome...and cooler than all the villians on this list

I personally liked The Nuclear Man enough to not have him on this list because that guy was just hardcore; from the way he spoke to the way he could simply blow-up a building wall with the single strike. That guy was pure bad-ass that's why you'll never find him on my list.

Worst Villain(s)... EVER!
Shao Kahn - Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997)
Ghostface - Scream Franchise
General Bison - Street Fighter: The Movie(1994)

I agree with all of the above except the SM3 villains. Sandman wasn’t bad at all, and while GG2 and Venom weren’t spectacular, they certainly shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence with the likes of Mr. Freeze or the crap from the Catwoman movie.

Travolta in Battlefield Earth..
That movie should be our generations Plan 9.
