EXCLUSIVE: Lili Taylor is set as the female lead in Fox‘s untitled Bad Robot/J.H. Wyman drama pilot (formerly Inhuman). The action-packed buddy cop show, from Warner Bros. TV, is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. It centers on one such pairing, cop John Kennex and his android partner Dorian (Michael Ealy). Six Feet Under alumna Lili Taylor, repped by APA and Circle of Confusion, will play Maldonado, an ambitious and determined police captain who is willing to make sacrifices for the greater good. She also stars in the upcoming film The Conjuring and recurs on Eli Roth’s Netflix series Hemlock Grove.

Michael Irby (The Unit) and Brit Mackenzie Crook (Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise) have been cast in Fox‘s untitled Bad Robot/J.H. Wyman drama pilot (formerly Inhuman). The buddy cop show, from Warner Bros. TV, is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. It centers on one such pairing, cop John Kennex and his android partner Dorian (Michael Ealy). Irby, repped by Greene & Assoc. and Leanne Coronel, plays top LAPD Detective Richard Paul who blames Kennex for the death of fellow officers in the tragic mission that casts a pall over the department. Crook will play Rudy Lom, the eccentric and underpaid designer of the LAPD’s robotics squad. Meanwhile, Bad Robot’s other pilot, NBC‘s Believe, has added Kyle MacLachlan as Skouras, a mysterious billionaire with an even more mysterious agenda.

The action-packed buddy cop show, from Warner Bros TV, is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. It centers on one such pairing, cop John Kennex and his android partner Dorian (Michael Ealy). Kelly, repped by Management 360 and CAA, will play Valerie Stahl, a uniformed cop with a strong moral compass who believes the best of people. She next plays Jackie Kennedy in Butler and is about to begin production on The World Made Straight.

After very lengthy negotiations, Karl Urban has closed a deal to star opposite Michael Ealy in Fox‘s untitled J.H. Wyman/J.J. Abrams drama pilot (formerly Inhuman). The project reunites Urban, who plays Bones in the Star Trek movie franchise with the franchise’s helmer Abrams. The action-packed buddy cop show, from Warner Bros TV, is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. It centers on one such pairing, cop John Kennex (Urban) and his android partner Dorian (Ealy). Kennex is described as a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission left him critically injured. The cast of the pilot, from Warner Bros. TV, also includes Lili Taylor and Minka Kelly.

I'm not gonna lie for the sake of saving face, I'm a little aroused by this news.
