Am I the only one who thought the CGI was shoddy?

We can talk about whether or not the CGI was shoddy without having to worry about altering the fact that SR sucked.

Agreed! Most of the CGI was fine. There were only like two scenes where I noticed some bad CGI.

I thought it was okay, they really messed up the symbiote's movements though. It's supposed to be a puddle slithering across the ground, WTF is up with the flipping around thing!? But then again they completely screwed up Venom anyways so...

I really liked the "flipping around thing", as you say. It was creepy, and it looked more alive to me than a puddle would have.

Yeah the fact that it was made up of tendrils was better than a puddle. It was the best version of the Symbiote I've seen.

The symbiote effects were fine, until it came to Venom where the streaks on his face looked painted on, Roger Rabbit style.

i'm not sure i get what you mean...

The raised webbing on his face was a mix of a prosthetic and post-production CGI to make it thrash and envelop his face. It didn't look too bad to me when he goes to stab Peter or right before he gets hit by the cinder block. It was just the shot on the cab that looked better in the production shot.

I'm not saying they were painted on, I'm saying it looked like it did.
