am I the only one who thought SM3 was MUCH better 2nd time around?

If that ruins a movie for you, you need to grow the Hell up. That's how kids behave. Noone ever accuased kids of not being cheesy.

what the?? Ruin the movie? I never said it ruined the movie, it took me out of the exciting moment that was going on. Harry comes back then the kids come out and im like, WTF was that  Then the scene continued and I was back to into it. Like i said, it ruined THE MOMENT for 2 seconds.

You know,

After hearing how bad it was going to be from half of you guys, watching the poorly edited trailers, and reading the bad advance reviews from critics, I went in with no expectations. I thought it was going to suck like no tomorrow.

And I walked out absolutely loving it.

My friend hates the first two Spider-Man movies, and he loved this one. I walked in wanting to hate it, waiting for that dance scene. And when it came, I thought it was hilarious. I thought the black suit was dark enough--wow, when Peter threw the bomb at Harry and walked away and everything. I thought it was plenty dark; the only thing he hadn't done was punch a baby or kill an innocent bystander and you know that wouldn't fly in this kind of movie.

Yes, it's a flawed movie.

[ But so are the first two ]

They wanted to get everything in, so it's a little rushed. But it's just about everything I could have ever wanted it to be, and I really enjoyed it. It's my favorite of the three.

This happened with me and Spider-man 2. At first I just felt that the film was awkward, but then saw it again and it was phgenomonal.

This will NOT happen with #. I honestly wanted to ask the theater for my money back, but it was a midnight screening and they were closeing everything.

X2, SM2, Sin City...X2 and SM2 were MUCH better with second viewings, and I just plain hated Sin City the first viewing. Watched it again and I loved it

loved SM1 on first viewing - hardly watch it on dvd

loved SM2 on first viewing - hardly watch it on dvd but just bought 2.1

'liked' SM3 on first viewing - LOVED it on second viewing and can see myself watching it over and over because of all the action and humour.

I was pretty disappointed by it the first time(mainly by the second half) and when I saw it a second time, I liked it so much more. still a little sloppy, but fr more entertaining.

EVen the American Flag part was more bearable after a 2nd time.

I agree except for the american flag part that just screams cheesy

I was a little disapoointed with spidey 3 but I have to say I saw it again and LOVED it.

Same here... Not that I didnt liked it the first time, but I was speechless and confused. Maybe waiting for a year and and a half for a movie can make you a bit disapointed when you see it, but it really worthed to see it a second time, cause I like it better now :woot:

My experience was almost exact to this when I saw it last friday. I logged on my comp, noticing all the bad reviews and comments and I felt so deppressed. My expectations completely dwindled when going into the theater, though when I came out I found I absolutely loved it. It's not the number of times you view this movie, it's about knowing what not to expect and aiming rather at what you KNOW you will enjoy in the movie, coupled with what surprises you. Yes, it is flawed and had so much potential to be more, though it doesn't deserve all the criticizing it is getting most certainly.

I enjoyed it the first time ..... I sure I will enjoy it even more the next time ...

Nope, 1st and 2nd viewing did not change my mind, I still do not like SM3.
