I think I agree but there is no excuse for the rushed 3rd act of the movie especially the end battle. Raimi and Co. better put the cut footage in there for the DVD.... TOO RUSHED!:csad:

Dude, this was exactly me lol. I saw the midnight screening, I enjoyed it but thought the dancing stuff was kinda weird and it was quite corny but after viewing it Friday night, i was like wow thats a lot better this time! I think its cause I had seen it and there wasn't anything I wasn't expecting. For example instead of saying what the hell is going on with the dance scene, I just watched it cause I had knew it was coming. This was I could focus on the better elements of the film.

If that makes sense?

I liked it the first time, but definetly enjoyed it more the second time around. I liked the first two movies better the second time I saw them as well.

I thought it was okay the first time. I was disapointed for sure.

But the second time, it was definitley a lot better. All the storylines were a little overwhelming the first time, but this time I knew what to expect. I still say it's the worst in the trilogy, but I'll be getting the DVD for sure.

I think I was expecting a movie in a similar vain to SP2 and when it wasn't I was disappointed but when I saw it again knowing what was in the movie I could just watch it without having ridicoulously high expectations.

I think this movie has much more rewatch value than the second movie because there is so much action and so much comedy.

I watched it a second time and still cringed at certain points. Didn't sway my opinion much, however, the first act did seem a bit more organized.

the 1st time around, what happened to Venom really brought the movie down for me, BUT the second time around, i enjoyed the film overall alot more. and now i'm really looking forward to watch it one more time

That all very good and all, but it really shouldnt take 2 viewings of a film for you to like it.

i loved it the first time, and im sure the second time ill love it even more!

Is that a rule or something?

A lot of great movies require time to digest. And a lot of ****ty movies never get better than the first time you watch them.

Part of it was the hype, I imagine and I see a similar reaction in the near future to 'The Dark Knight'. I didn't hear people just hyping it up to be the best Spidey film, I've hear people hyping it up to be the best film EVER!

So, I think for many who have been hyping it up like that- first time through would be a sort of 8/10 disappointment. But, then after that it shoots straight up.

And I think this will be the case for DK.

I think Spider-Man 3 will be one of those movies I revisit down the line and like it for what it is. I had the same experience with SM1. I was very meh on it until I rewatched it before SM2 came out. Even Batman Begins, it took two viewings to really figure out how I felt about it.

I felt the same way. I thought I was the only one too, It was better the second time, I got more into the last scene. and cried, again... man, I havent cried that hard in a movie... ever.

The only thing wrong with the movie is that some aspects didnt make much sense. Being out of sync with the other films isnt a crime, but it would only have taken a few minutes to explain each plot that needed more attention. The second time around it was still a good movie. Its not as good a movie as the first two, but it is more of a comic book, and it is a good comic book movie with replay value. It is smoother the second time, too.

Someone should put a jihad out on Arad, though.

I when't to the midnight premiere and it was awesome. the next time I go which will probably be tommorow or possibly tuesday it will be the same and the third time I go it will be the same and every time after that.

You didn't see the movie in bluewater's gallery did you? My sister said there was one guy there who started blubbering half way through

hated blade runner first time (thought it was an action movie) loved it the sencond time around and now it is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I'm glad some of you are enjoying it the 2nd time around. :)

Much better the second time around, I had a horrible audience first time around.

First time i saw it, my audience was alot better but i thought the movie was meh. The second time i saw it, the audience i saw it wtith weren't as animated as the first but I enjoyed the movie much, much more.

It took 3+ viewing for me to like SM1.

I liked SM2 the very first time i saw it.

It's a film you have to see a couple of times to soak it all in. Thanks to Arad's mucking around, the film is pretty full, and we don't have much time to breath.

So definitely see it again. You have to to take it all in.

You're not the only one. I just got back from my second viewing. The audience I was with loved it.

I was pretty disappointed by it the first time(mainly by the second half) and when I saw it a second time, I liked it so much more. still a little sloppy, but fr more entertaining.

EVen the American Flag part was more bearable after a 2nd time.

I agree with all 3 spidey movies being better the second time around, however i think although 3 is on par with 1, its still the weakest link of the trilogy.
