Americans, y u no stop being negative about Canada/Canadians?

There's really only one reason to hate Canada.

But it's still a pretty big reason.

lol...that's only one.

I like Canada , but sometimes it's like that one annoying kid that always tries real hard to hang out with the big kids. I end up feeling sorry for Canada. One day Celine Dion will leave your beautiful country.:csad:

I thought it was always general apathy by most Americans towards Canada. I mean, if it weren't for the occasional famous person who happened to have wandered down from the great white North, we'd forget you were even there.

Sometimes I forget Canada is even up there. Then I look at a map and I remember people live up there.

These are but mere grains of sand compared to the desert of suck that is Bieber.

I shall attempt to smoothen relations between Americans and Canadians with the following open letter:

Dear Canada,

Thank you for all of the funny comedians, hot women, good actors, cheap filming locations, and lower drinking age that 19 year old Americans on border states took advantage of before they needed a passport to enter your country.

Sincerely wishing I also had health care,
Manic

P.S. Take back all of your terrible ****ing singers!

I'd much rather live in Canada than the US if i was over that part of the world.

Yeah, well, I'd much rather live in America than Canada.

I think we feel about Canada the way Brits feel about Scots. They're like the bratty little brother whose hair we just have to tussle and occasionally give a swirlie to, but it's all in good fun.

I will say that Canada has some fine ass women though. I went to Toronto for a family reunion one year.....woooooo...buffet. :awesome:

Canada's not so bad, but then, you'll be labelled a Canadian if you live there, so it's pretty bad.

Here's to Canada, America's Milhouse! At least you're not New Jersey.

Yeah, but their trannys are horrible.

Really? What the hell is your beef? I'm sick and tired of you guys looking down on Canada and it's people. Please grow up and put a sock in it. Canada and it's people aren't perfect but the hate for them is really unwarranted, are you guys friggin' capable of not disliking anyone that isn't American? :cmad::whatever:

What are some of you trying to prove by being haters and instigators? Do some of you think that you're doing a good deed for others or another?

I've seen far more ripping on America by Canadians than the other way around here on the hype.

In general though I don't really here many bad things about Canada, and many of the jokes we do have arent much different than the jokes we tell about people from Minnesota or North Dakota (assuming there really are people in ND that is).

One of the only times I've really seen widespread ripping on Canada was people ripping on the proposed public option for Health Care Reform. There were a lot of people ripping on Canada's healthcare system. This of course was dumb because though it does have its own issues (and really what doesn't) Canadas health care system costs less than America's per patient and yet has statistically similar quality and results. In fact the infant mortality rate is actually lower in Canada than in the U.S.
