I got a Cap/Iron Man yin-yang one that's kinda ugly but I'll still wear because at least I'm a fan of those characters, and I also got a Deadpool one. I kinda loathe Deadpool, so that will be my new "bum around the house"/laundry day shirt, lol.

Well when you buy 7 shirts your chances are much greater for getting something cool I guess haha. I dig most of them.

Well, my dad's a retired Army colonel who just doesn't have a high tolerance for silliness in general. Every now and then he'll find a comedy that makes him crack up (I think Spy was the last one that did it), but it's a rare and special occurrence, lol. I stopped trying to bond with him over comedies when he told me Arrested Development (my favorite show ever) was "stupid." That was just a step too far.

We bond over (regular) superheroes and sci-fi instead.

I bet I can bond with him through mutual dislike of Community.
As long as he doesn't think I try to date his daughter.

I agree. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Urban has embraced this role considering he often plays tough guys. He's great.

The highlight of my day was putting my dog to sleep. The lymphoma in her eyes wrecked them faster than anything else in her body. She was in pain and rubbing them all the time. It was horrible. I just didn't want her to suffer anymore. I suppose I have to trade off this one horrible day with the eleven years of fun and joy she gave us.

As an animal's master you have a duty of care which as sad as it may be includes making sure that their end is free of suffering in return for the years of loyalty and friendship these creatures give us. She was such a good dog. My husband was looking through old pictures, smiling as he looked at those puppy pics. She was a tiny thing, all belly and big paws. Dogs are the best.
