"I am the one... The Only one... I am the god of kingdom come..."

When I get home later today, I'm going to watch Kingsman: The Secret Service!!! Annnnnnnnd in honor of that movie, here's this:

Can an adult here tell me how working works. Okay, here's my problem. Long story short, for my degree, I need to complete two internships. I'm doing a huge group project with about a dozen students at my school and the school as accepted this as one of our internships. For it to count as an internship I need to work 350 hours from today to August 15th. That comes to about 30 hours a week, and 4.25 hours per day. I'm allowed to count anything I do for this project towards the 350 hours, right? For example, if our group sets a meeting for 1pm and I'm ready at 1pm, but they don't start until until 1:30pm, am I still able to count the 30 minutes of waiting as working? It's not my fault they didn't start on time. If I was late, I wouldn't count the hours in, but since I was ready, can't I still include those hours?

THat's why most workplaces have time clocks and such. If you are in charge of counting your own hours and it's essentially on the honor system then you can really count anything you want and nobody will be able to dispute it. So it depends on the job, most jobs only pay you for the actual time you work regardless of what others may do. Some jobs you have set hours and as long as your there you get paid.

If it's by the honor system then I'd count it as long as you don't need them to match with the others by too large a margin. If it's by a timestamp or something similar I wouldn't. Of course if it's by the 'honor' system I'm sure most people fudge the numbers a bit anyway.

God, I hate the bus system out here. I took off work an hour and a half early so I could catch the last bus I need to get home and it still doesn't look like I'm gonna make that last bus. Freaking ridiculous. I knew I should've made sure to get my bike up and running for today. At least when I get that ready today I don't have to worry about this kind of crap anymore.

I haven't bought a T-shirt related to fanboy stuff in ages. Today I came upon a satellite store of Midtown comics, talked with a manager about podcast stuff and picked up some T's. A Vampirella and Widow for my friend Ingela and a nice Iron Fist T for myself.

Aggressive defenders of the new Ghostbusers trailers should tell us what they think of movies like James Cameron's Terminator movies, Alien, Aliens, Frozen, Zootopia, and The Force Awakens, and then talk about how positively people view these successful great movies starring women, and why movies like Resident Evil series fail.
