I didn't see anything so he's got no reason to come after me, they pretty much have him dead to rights but since FL has 10-20-Life and he's looking at life they have nothing to lost doing appeals and all that. Just sucks because I'm gonna miss either a half day of work or most a day and they give me like $5 to go testify. So extra lame.

LOL. I know DJ, just teasing!! LOL :oldrazz:

Two Words = Olivia Munn, I've been in love with her since G4. Too bad it's a Fox-Men movie or may have seen it in theaters.

You've never seen any Fox X-Men movies? Granted they are a mixed bag at times... I guess I shouldn't talk anyway. I have no desire to see Apocalypse myself but... Wolverine 3 and the Deadpool sequel has my money already. Very excited for both.

Haha I'm just saying, all I did was find the guy in his last moments on earth. This POS killed a guy for some blunt wrappers because his dumbass couldn't figure out how to open the register. Deserves to rot in prison for the rest of his life. If I did see him I'd still testify.

After X3 and Origins, I made a solemn vow to never pay for another Fox-Men property at the theater. I almost broke it for DP but was able to watch that through "other" means. If DP2 is as good as the first I will see that in theaters, though. But I have seen all of the films, just refuse to give them my money.

I'll go see Apocalypse, I'm too much of a fan to skip it. :)

Yeah... I don't get that. Why? You missed out on a fun theater experience with DP. Even finding some X output by Fox lackluster to my eyes I made no "solem vows" not to see them. Hell I really think that IM2/3, TDW and GOTG are pretty mediocre at best but I don't think I'm not going to see future Marvel films. I am too invested in these characters I have been a fan of since I was a little boy singing along to the Captain America theme song. If anything I am not excited for Apocalypse cuz of Poc himself. Never got the appeal of the character.

FYI TO BE CONTINUED new episode just posted up, coving the death of DARWYN Cooke, Prince and more... Also the Mr. T film D.C. CAB for some reason.

If Mr. T comes up as a topic, the show The A-Team is mandatory & of course his role as Clubber Lang. :cwink:

Oh, & before I forget, Mr.T cartoons & of course, Mr. T cereal!!! :sly:

Oh DJ... It's like you think you are on the Disney payroll.

They aren't tru to the characters and are only driven by money, it shows in every film. They are getting better about it for sure, DP was the exception to the rule and now that DP took off maybe they will have more faith in the characters.

So you think a movie that should have been a guaranteed billion, that the GA didn't particularly care for (the record drops show this), and even has die-hard fans divide isn't a debacle? Why else would WB make these changes then, because they were super happy with barely breaking even?

What I think is that that you do sometimes act like you are on the Disney payroll brotha... But they ain't paying your bills man. ;)

Good to hear WB wanted a more confident and capable director for The Flash. I was worried they were having a kneejerk reaction to the tank'd box office for BvS. They need to get George Miller more involved too.

Going forward, what I'd like from the DC side of comic movies is a universe that puts forth these godlike figures, but really asks if we need them as heroes...or are they simply crutches that demean our everyday heroes and leave us worse of than before they made the scene.. think it would work great because you have characters like Wonder Woman and Aquaman that could take the role of everyday heroes in their respective societies by embracing their duties as political figures. Ambassadors and peacemakers between the humans, Amazonians, and Atlanteans.

I'm just rambling at this point, but whereas Marvel began blazing the trail and seems unified by the idea of exploring the extent to which you can create a massive cinematic universe, I'd like to see DC use theirs to focus on the theme I mentioned above.

I really want great DC movies. I also want Marvel to acknowledge the damn TV shows in the movies since "it's all connected". DC took a gamble with the whole make it dark just to be dark and our universe has been going on for awhile now and it didn't pay off. That's not to say they can't course correct, exactly what that article above shows they are trying to do. Snyder most likely won't be around after JL pt 1.

I've been here a while, but I'm still not sure what :o means.
It says sarcasm, but usually, it's used for snark. What exactly is it supposed to be? :oldrazz:

I don't mind dark CMBs. Blade 1/2, Batman/Returns and others pulled it off great. Making Superman a dark CBM is stupid. :p

I agree with you though DJ. DC really does need to keep it up to how Marvel does things but keep it their own.

Batman Returns is possibly the greatest film ever made, anyone denies that is my foe.

Strangely enough I'm with both of you on this.

It's still my favorite CBM ever and one of my favorite movies I've ever seen.

try to stretch that out to 6-7 years.
