From what I read online about it, the author is putting out chapters every few months now and people are wondering if he's going to finish it. He says he's about 60% done at 200+ chapters so unless he's immortal, he may want to hurry up or have someone help him out that can ape his style.

It's not for everyone and frankly it has as many over used tropes and cliche's as any other genre work. But there is a wide variety out there and you may find something to interest you. For gods sake there's manga totally dedicated to sports and board games, and I'm not talking like Pokemon or the like I mean like Go, or chess. Also if it's been well adapted you have to retrain your way of reading a comic art form since it will be read opposite how you read English. So Right to left rather than left to right from what we would call the back of the book.

Death Battle is mostly awesome. The last one with Flash vs Quicksilver was dumb. I hate the ones where the victor is obvious and outclasses the opponent in every single way.

Mind you, Starscream from Transformers vs Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony was hilarious.

My tribes are coming along nicely. They live along the coast.

The Roar Tribe - these guys capture and breed mossasaurs with chum provided by the Pool Tribe.

The Crash Tribe - these guys catch pirates, poachers, and scavenge their wrecked ships; their villages are built from the wrecks. Survivors are tried in a kangaroo court, then executed (because the Crash figures no one but poachers would brave the reefs and rocks in their territories) by lethal injection.

The Pool Tribes - these guys formulate chum from corpses provided by the Crash Tribe. The chum's used to capture wild mossasaurs.

Thanks, Kev. So its like we get a pretty good trilogy replacing two good movies and a eh meh third. Singer planning on continuing with these movies? I remember being disappointed with the Phoenix payoff we got in X3 after that tease Singer left us in X2.

Yeah, they've already announced that the next X-Men film will be set in the 90s. That's one thing I like about these new films. Each one takes place in a different decade so they each have their own feel and design.

First Class - 60s
Days of Future Past - 70s
Apocalypse - 80s
Next X-Men film - 90s

Wolverine 3 is supposed to take place sometime around 2018 after that scene at the end of DOFP. Logan and Professor X are going to be working together in that film. Hopefully older Jean and older Scott will be involved somehow. It's going to be Jackman's last time playing Logan so what better way to go out than getting the whole original gang together for one last mission.

The only confirmed thing is it's set in the future, like a western in tone, and rated R. It can't be too far in the future if Professor X is in the film unless he has found a way to become immortal. And I doubt they will retread the post apocalyptic setting. We've been there done that with DOFP.

He's about 50 now, so he's not THAT old. But he has said that if he found the right artist who can match his style and skill he'd happily let them draw while he solely writes.

Old Man Logan is likely going to be what it's based off, in part. But they're being liberal with a lot of elements and using some other Wolverine mythology, such as X23, and I think the Death of Wolverine storyline. it's very much a mixture from what I've heard.

He always intended it to be long, but part of the problem with the release schedule is that he's very specific with the art details so that everything lines up with the mythology he set up. Causality and all that.

Yeah, it's more Escape From New York rather than global apocalypse I think.
