I learned about Abraham Lincoln in school, I know he went through some terrible stuff during the Civil War, but I had forgot all about the whole vampire thing. The finer details are fuzzy.

Not really. This is the first mention I've heard of Ann Frank in years outside of references in tv shows and a movie or two and none of those references have mentioned her death. Since I graduated I haven't done anything on the holocaust. Things slip over time.

Her diary was published by her father, who was given the diary by the people who hid them after he learned that Anne and her sister Margot had died in the camps. It was published in her memory, giving a voice to the countless children who died in the Holocaust.

It may be common knowledge but that doesn't mean I'm not allowed a brain fart once in a while.

I know of her diary. The thing she is most well known for. I know that like millions of others she went through horrible things at the hands of the nazis. Personally that is all I need to know. Whether she died in a concentration camp or escaped and died warm in her bed surrounded by family, her and millions of others went through terrible things and I'm not gonna forget that. So if I had a brain fart and forgot she didn't make it out of a concentration camp the world will spin on. Sorry folks we all have those moments. Mine just happened to be about a holocaust victim.

Before the Boston Marathon incident, it was all over the news. I don't like or dislike Bieber (I've never heard one of his songs, and I thought he was a cartoon character until a year or so ago), but it makes me quite sad that legit news channels spend large amounts of time on an off-the-cuff comment made by an entertainer.

I'd rather believe the less well received theory that Lincoln had been bitten by a zombie, and in fact contacted John Wilkes Boothe to make it look like an assassination, so that America would never know the true fate of the beloved president.
