Annie Remake

Or how about Norm Lewis? He's been playing leads on Broadway forever, it's about time he got a big movie role.

I think the success of this film will determine Quvenzhané Wallis' future in Hollywood. By the time she's 18 she could either be a highly sought after A-list actress with two Oscar nominations before she's able to drive (if this film has the same box office and critical success as Les Miz) and (maybe) a hit Disney Channel TV series or she disappears for a few years to live a normal life and returns at age 18 in "Tyler Perry's Madea's Going to a Nursing Home."

This is funny...the current Broadway cast of Annie had a rap battle with the current Broadway cast of Newsies about their somewhat similar plotlines at the recent BC/EFA Easter Bonnet show:

How Willow left the project...

http://http://www.vulture.com/2013/05/will-and-jaden-smith-on-working-together.html

Do you think Jaden could have been a dentist?

Will: It may seem like we have pushed our kids into the business, but that is absolutely insane. I would never, ever, push somebody to have their face on a poster that’s going be everywhere in the world. He is making a choice from the informed. It’s less scary to me than if he wanted to be a dentist in that I couldn’t help with what he’d chosen. I have relationships with some of the biggest filmmakers and actors and producers on Earth. So I can be a huge help.

Willow chose singing and then un-chose it. She said, “Daddy, I want to go to school with my friends during the week, and I want to hang out with them on the weekends.” At the peak of “Whip My Hair,” she’s like, “Daddy, I’m done.” I was like, “Wow, wow, wow. No, baby, I got Annie [the upcoming movie remake, co-produced by Jay-Z], you know. It’ll be New York, you’ll be with Beyoncé. You can bring your friends.” And she said, “Daddy, I got a better idea. How about I just be 12?” At the end of the day, it has to be their choice.

i dont belive that he said this.

“Daddy, I’m done.” I was like, “Wow, wow, wow. No, baby, I got Annie''

How awesome would it have been if Jay Z showed up out of nowhere to rap in that number?

For that matter, can we get him in the movie? That would be sweet.

Maybe she derailed some of the production aspects of the film and it sounds like he may have informed him too long after she decided to have a more normal life.

Sounds like a conversation between an celebrity and her agent.

People, it's Miss Hannigan...not Miss Hattigan. :argh:

Jane Lynch is playing her on Broadway now. She performed on the Tonys this weekend:

I can kinda see Sandra Bullock doing this too it would be really funny.

Here's Carol Burnett singing "Little Girls" in the 1982 movie (my favorite):

And Kathy Bates in the 1999 TV movie (the kid playing Molly plays Hayley on Modern Family now):

I noticed that, but I decided to keep my mouth shut until one of the theater people caught wind of it. Figured there would be more outrage that way. :hehe:

Sorr-ree, your highness. :oldrazz:
