That's cool, course i'm for it.

It bugs me, but it's not a big deal about the 30k thing. Everyone spams at first--hell, I spammed the hell out of these boards when I first joined. Granted, it took me 4 months to get 3000, but I did it. I have 1337 posts in the now-defunct "Word Association" thread [though I wasn't doing it entirely to raise my post count, I was a complete noob at the time].

I was like that too. But i wasn't constantly just posting simple words. When i started out i would do it cause i was a noob. But then i would have conversations on the Superman boards and other boards. Never have i seen some one spend their whole time just on these game threads, but he does. For him it's obvious it's about his post count, and his posts really mean nothing.....(Hack and Slash)

I really don't like users such as Hack and Slash and Mr. Lex Luthor. They claim they have no lives and therefore that results them to posting every damn day? I got news for you both, everyone here HAS lives, so go read a book or something. That's just a silly excuse to them not admitting they do spam therefore having the high numbers. Period. A rule needs to made about this, popping into threads and saying simple one liners is just crap imho.

Not that this justifies anything, but that was before. Comparing myself to Hack and Slash is absurd. The reason why I have this much posts is because I registered right in the middle of an ongoing hype. I basically had NOTHING to do at the time, but to discuss about what would happen, who would die and the likes. I discovered untapped talent in making avatars at the time as well. People were requesting like crazy and I, of course, fulfilled their requests. I was having fun and I couldn't care less about the post count. I admit, some parts of me did want bigger avatar sizes at times. I pretty much gained my first 10 grand from that board alone. After that, I found out about gaming threads. It was only natural of me to post in them and my post count, naturally, boosted tenfold. In case you haven't noticed, I slowed down. Don't mean to sound egotistical or anything, but I DO contribute.

After his incident in Tech Support, I don't think very highly of Hack and Slash, either, but Lex is an alright dude. Most of his posts nowadays come from the Lounge. And I have mixed feelings on chat threads, too.

I was appalled that he just flat-out called out whoever responsible for his loss of avatar and signature. Dug his own grave. And thanks, I appreciate that. I don't post in the Lounge as much as I used to, mainly because I prefer to lurk, which, I know, is frowned upon by most familiar faces or because I have been busy as of late with life and everything. (I DO have a life. :P)

Yeah i saw his thread on Tech Support, and it showed that's all he cared about. Hack and Slash spends his time on every game thread, not once have i seen him around the hero boards. So i'm not fond of him. He just drops in and says one thing, that's it. K Lex and i talked so yeah he is pretty cool. But the 30k thing is not excusable.

This is all Hack and Slash cared about.

He CAN be conspicuously bizarre most of the time. It's unnerving. Again, I apologize for my outburst. It was not a moment I am most proud of, I can tell you that. My having 30k in a short time is ignominious, but I don't really give a ****e, really.

I HATE it when people double-post. Ok, mindfully double-posting is fine in my book, but double-posting merely just five seconds apart just to continue from "i know :sad:" to "lmao you remember when he did that? yeah." It's ticking me off. Also, same thing goes for impersonal quoting. I admit, I used to do it before, but not until I realized how annoying it is. Quoting without specifically naming who said the quotes is incongruous. Sure, it may be a quicker way to copy and paste quotes in the Quick Reply box without typing "

Bumping of old threads simply by using the word "bump" and/or the cocky smiley. If your thread was so lame that you couldn't think of anything relevant to say other than "bump", then apparently, your thread REALLY doesn't need to be bumped in the first place, now does it? For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

People who abhor using the shift key. Seriously, I know that I tend to capitilize a bit TOO much, according to certain people, but it's better than not doing it at all. At the VERY least, just do the first letter in a sentence and the letter "I" when signifying yourself. For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

Using "LOL", "LMAO" or other shorthand while typing on a messageboard. I can understand doing it in a game, like WoW or Counter Strike. I can tolerate it in an IM. But there's no reason to have it on a message board--it's not like you don't have time to react to something someone said. You're not going to need a resurrection, or get sniped. And for you smartasses who are going to type "Yes I am "--you're ****ing lying. For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

People who post "too long-I'm not going to read that" Personally, I see that as spam, and when I see it, I delete it. It's pointless to post something like that in a thread if you're not going to participate in the discussion. For the record--it's not the people themselves, it's the habit of such.

I totally agree here. People just throw the word "Nazi" around to describe any group/rule they don't like. That is disrespectful to people who suffered though the Holocaust or fought in WW2.
