They don't deserve this. The UK is Marvel's second biggest international market.
The U.S., where the movies are actually made, usually always gets the later release date. I think youll live.

For the first time in a long time I'm actually moderately concerned that a Marvel Studios movie is going to underwhelm at the box office, at least globally. Not sure what this has to make to be an unqualified success, but I'm hoping it can at least get to 600 M worldwide.
What do think is the minimum box office for this film to have in order to have an Ant-Man 3? I think $200 million domestic should be the minimum.
The U.S. has always gotten the MCU movies a week or two later than the UK with the recent exceptions being Spider-Man Homecoming, Black Panther and Infinity War. Granted, a week is more bearable than a month, but I don't think it'll affect the box office too much. I sympathize with you guys in the UK that have to wait, but it could always be worse. Imagine if Infinity War was released a month later over there. I think a big reason why they were afraid of the World Cup is because Ant-Man is the MCU's least heavy-hitting franchise.

Brazil and Mexico should be challenging that
