Me too. Always been a big fan of the Dutch Bob cut. But I get the sense I don't see the world the way that guy does. Thankfully.

Maybe the suit's an upgrade or the one we saw at the end of Ant-Man was just a tease of what's to come, like when Rhodey eyed the Mark II armor in Iron Man.

Though oddly enough, first thing I think of when looking at this is the X-Men costumes from the Singer films.

I'm more disappointed about them not keeping her cute haircut from the first film.

I thought the haircut was here to stay. :csad:

I was hoping so as well.. Sexy AF. My GF has that cut. Accentuates the cheekbones.

She still looks great, but she owned that DB look.

It would make sense if at least one of The Avengers were to show up in a cameo capacity considering Infinity War and what not but who would make sense in an Ant-Man & Wasp film? Well there's Hawkeye Clint he would make the most sense or even have Natasha/Black Widow show up or you could have Anthony Mackie's Falcon show up again

I really liked the blue and gold suit they teased in the first movie. This one is ok. It reminds me of something you would see on Agents of Shield.

I wonder if they will have Hope interact with Scott's daughter Cassie

They went and made the Wasp costume as bland as possible. Now it looks like something out of Agents of SHIELD. It's not far from the Laser Tag Deathlok costume.

What was wrong with the yellow before?

I'm wondering if the new suit isn't more gold than it appears in that shot. The lighting is a lot different than the one from the first film.

The bob cut was a homage to comic Janet but with Janet coming in the movie back it might of been a bit weird to she her have the same haircut as her mom.

Agreed. I liked the color on the incomplete suit from the fist movie. The dark color palate make this suit look a bit bland.

Certainly the color should be brighter. I completely agree with that. But let's be real that's still a really cool costume!

She looks great. Maybe a future installment will have a yellow version of the costume.

It's cool, but would have had more personality with the colours they showed before.

For sure.

I know I'm being a positive polly here, but i guess i'd prefer a decent looking boring costume than a ****** looking colorful costume.

But not by much lol. (looking at you original x-men trilogy)

I'm the same as you actually. My first worry with superhero costumes is damage limitation and with this it still looks cool with no negatives jumping out at me, even though it lacks individuality relative to the colours we've seen before. If someone wants to call it generic I wouldn't disagree but I'll still be able to enjoy Wasp in this. A shame that they got rid of the haircut too as that also added individuality/quirkiness/personality.

For comic book movies and TV, we're always wishing on someday. It's always "wait until the sequel", "wait until the next season", "he/she needs to earn it" etc. These are becoming clichés.

Deadpool should've not worn a costume in his movie and said all of these to the audience.

Yeah, I preferred the previous colours (maybe the new one lights up when in wasp mode?). I liked the previous hair-do but I think longer hair suits her more. The short bob was a Janet shout-out which is redundant now as Janet is in the movie.

Will Janet be getting the bob?

A bland costume? In a Marvel Studios movie? Color me shocked.

While Lilly is a gorgeous woman, I don't think the previous haircut suited her at all. I much prefer this direction. The suit could have used a splash more colour, but it's fine for what it is.

Evangeline didn't need the thick and stiff bob, but I don't think she should've completely had the longer hair either worn back in a pony tail. I think she could've had a short but loose cut.

Something like this would've been good:

Or this

Or even this, which is closest to what she had in the first movie, but is worn much less severely and formally, and looks more relaxed and chic

They're all better than this which was cut dead straight and looked very stiff and severe which is what we got in the first film:

And all those styles look more Wasp-like than what she actually had. Wasp needs to be a more relaxed character who is more spunky, even if it's Hope rather than Janet, because Hope is going to be the main Wasp flying around.

It's not that short hair doesn't suit Lilly per se. It's that the short hair they gave her didn't suit her. They picked the worst possible version they could go for.

If Guardians of the Galaxy can have several lighthearted figures, then why can't Ant-Man? It doesn't need to just be Paul Rudd as Scott Lang with everyone else being the straight man/ woman to him.
