I don't see that much of a difference in color, but I need to go rewatch Ant Man I guess. It's been a long time.

The Pym's live on the West Coast while Spider-Man lives on the East Coast so Spider-Man would have to have a very good reason to travel all those hundreds of miles.

After recently watching Ant-Man again, I definitely prefer the new Wasp suit over the prototype that was in the end credits.
