Look, I'm not going to get into it right now. It's late and I have to get to work in the morning. Let me just post this

Not The Riddler

Think about it and PM me. I'm going to bed

I don't get anything from that picture that screams "NOT THE RIDDLER".

But then again, I remember Don Cheadle being in my shortlist for the role at one point. I guess I'm just a bit more open-minded than some...

...these pics are a bit more fitting, I think.

Less of "teh puffy".

Is it confirmed that he's gonna be the Riddler?

Not exactly confirmed but sure sounds like he´s gonna be playing Edward Nygma :ninja:

From BOF...

Anthony Michael Hall is not someone created for the film (like "Rachel Dawes"). His character is from the comic books and is rather well known. I know you don’t do spoilers, so let’s just say he seems to be good, but is really bad, or it could be the other way around -- it's quite the "mystery." The fans will definately get a kick out of his appearance in the film!

Ah, BOF....:whatever:

Completely OT, but Keyser, you have the best avatars EVER!

He does - that's just awesome.

The amusing thing is that I once had the Burger King as my avvy.

Damn you, Soze... damn you for being so very much like me. :o

:woot:

You're comparing an illustration with a real person who's not in even in 'costume' but at a more candid setting.

good call.

imo, the riddler's "look" is the least important part of the character.

to me, the riddler is the most SERIOUS of all of batman's foes. thats where batman forever got him so wrong. he isn't over the top, he's a genius of the mind.

if i was nolan, i would give riddler ties to maroni's mob. when they are trying to figure out a way to bring down the batman, they call him in for his expertise....and he cunjours up various plans for them.

he could be right in the middle of things, having dialogue with both batman and the mob.. nobody really sure of who's side he's on.

thinking about it, this would be the one character that i would bet my house on nolan getting exactly right.

Really, what DOES Riddler look like? Put him in a question mark suit, and you have him. He has no distinguishing features beyond the basic green n' question get-up and his intelligent personality.

However, if AMH is playing Nigma, I doubt we're going to see him in a bright green suit with question marks printed on it, or something like that. Knowing Nolan, he may wear green, but that would be the extent of it.

One of the greatest Riddler stories.

And look! Mignola draws Riddler not skinny! :o

I was under the impression that it he was officialy playing The Riddler?

I think he is pretty much a lock to play the Riddler to be honest, it's not really like he will be a main character in ether movie I would guess with Joker and 2face taking up most of the villainous screen time so a second teir actor like Hall would suit that need perfectly imo.

It kind of makes a 4th Nolan Batman movie a little questionable with using 3 of the most popular villains already, but it still works

or maybe even cooler Nolan is trying to make this feel a little bit more like a universe not just introducing a villain so he can be the bad guy, but introducing him to hopefully speed his story up...maybe we are looking at an elongated introduction for the Riddler so he can go right into him in another movie

or maybe he is a villain in this one

Let's all hope it doesn't come to this; otherwise we'll be seeing "Dark Knight: The Musical."

It was completely ridiculous. How many times did they feel the need to change his costume? It can't be to sell more Halloween costumes because any kid would get his butt kicked wearing that.

That would be really cool. Some sort of mob weapons specialist/enforcer/thief etc. etc. that still acts like the Riddler. Same sort of way Scarecrow was a pawn in BB.

That said, with the Joker already announcing his kills before hand, the Riddler using riddles to announce his doings would also be sort of odd.

Once again, I'm placing faith in Nolan. If he manages to pull this movie off, it is going to be unbelievably epic.

Not really. Joker just announces his crimes. "I'll kill so-and-so at Midnight. Joker has spoken!" through either the tv or internet(hopefully).

Riddler could hack all kinds of things to get his riddles across. And he's not REALLY announcing anything. He's giving a riddle that has a vague or not so vague connection with what he's going to do. Like, "When is Mockridge as high as an elephant's eye." Corn is as high as an elephant's eye. Another word for corn is maze. When Mockridge is in the maze(borrowed from TAS).

Completely different.
