Triad

When hacker Jack Southerland accidently found himself in the mainframe of a prototype Quantum computer he found that by using the computer he could alter reality itself. after experimenting a few times and making a few prudent alterations he created a quantum computer of his own and armed it with better defenses than the Government could imagine. Only he would be able to log on to it. And while he could use this to hack reality itself, it would only work within about 400,000 cubic miles. a hundred miles in any lateral directionand five up and down.

He was not really the heroic type, so he put an ad out on the computer, not honestly expecting it to be answered. When a woman, Eliza Manson, showed up to become his super-hero he was genuinely surprised. She was an attractive woman of 25 (A year older than he). She never quite explained her reasons for wanting to be a super-hero, but took the responsiblity regardless. He gave electric powers, flight, strength, and invulnerability. Because of the red and white costume they made for her, and the fact that they met on Feb. 14th, she called herself: Valentine. The two were a good team. he could give her powers as she needed them, or alter the environment in subtle ways to help her. He rarely interfered in any large way, afraid people whould realize what he was doing.

A year after they started their venture together, there came a new figure in the city, riding a flying carpet wearing a midnight-purple cloak and veil. She called herself simply: The Apprentice. She told them that the Magic Ring, an organization for magic users, had become aware of the alteration in reality that pervaded the city. They were worried because it would take a master level (it goes mage, apprentice, adept, sorcerer, Master) to do much of what they were percieving as magic. After some fighting, and a Magic Ring Master's Tribunal, Jack and Valentine were put on probation. They were to be supervised by the newly promoted Adept (formerly Apprentice) who no longer wore a veil showing her now rather pretty face (It had born an ugly scar of dark magic they had been unable to remove, until Jack hacked it away).

Macro Island

There is an island 700 miles east of Japan. it is roughly the size of texas. Travel in the region is highly restricted. All comercial ships must maintain a distance of at least 100mi from the shores. Only high altitude planes are permitted to fly over the island. Authorities first became aware of the island's existance in 1960, when creatures from the island first managed to reach the shores of Japan... causing untold havok.

While there are ordinary and mundane creatures living on the island, the island is most famous for (and indeed named for) the giagantic creatures that live there. The most famous is the Dorudon. It is an amphibious species of reptile capable of expeling blasts of fire. They can reach 32 stories in height. The largest species on the island is the Island Tortise; a tortise who's shell is a mile in diameter which is capable of firing off laser blasts. As far as mamals go, There are the Luperodentia, rats the size of SUV's, that travel in wolf-like packs.

Dorudon II is the name of a tamed Dorudon that the Japanese government has trained to protect it's shores against other Macro-Creatures. This was possible as the Japanese government stole the egg from the Macro Island, and the Dorudon species is extremely loyal and territorial. By feeding Dorudon II and walking him around the country as an infant, they imprinted him to protect the people.

On the island two Island Tortises have been domesticated and built upon. They serve as border guards, keeping the air born creatures from leaving the airspace, and to patrol the waters. Dorudons are also used to maintain the peace. Motorvehicles are avoided as their emissions often either irritate or attract wild Macro-creatures.

I kinda dig that one.

The Current Punisher War Journal Storyline with Jigsaw, simply because the series has been awful since the Civil War tie-ins.

The current story is Jigsaw hiring the Hand to kill Frank after framing him for murders of police officers. My ending is a Secret Invasion tie-in, where Jigsaw delivers the killing shot to Castle, in view of Stuart Clarke and G.W. Bridge's team, only to have him revert to Skrull form upon death. Jigsaw is infuriated, whilst Bridge is annoyed he's been chasing a Skrull since the War. Clarke is simply shocked. A backstory reveals that the Skrulls tried brainwashing their new identity into the new super-skrulls in order to prevent any detection, and one of their test subjects was the Punisher. They figure, he's not affiliated with any supergroup or government, thus a low risk target, and they could use him to take out any supervillian threats to their invasion. Any Skrull posing as a villian in NYC could be "caught" by skrulls hiding in the Avengers. Anyway, the brainwashing worked too well, with this skrull truly believing he was Castle. The Skrulls let him loose anyway, figuring there was no chance of him discovering their invasion, and he would still kill supervillians in NYC.

Upon the discovery of the skrull punisher, Bridge and his team arrest Jigsaw, and Clarke goes in search of the real Punisher. I'll admit, not the best story, but it does provide a much-needed clean slate for PWJ.

DEUS (Pronounced Day-Oos): Spirit of Justice

in World War II the US had several great heroes who voluntarily served with the U.S. military. None was so highly decorated or remembered as Deus. He told people that he was the spirit of Justice descended to the world in corporeal form. What he told almost no one, but his teenage sidekick, was that he was also a mortal man. Deus is a title, a power, a gift, a curse, passed from person to person through out history. It can only be passed on at the moment of death, and will pass into the nearest person.

So it was that a man who had no record of having served in the military lay dying in a nursing home. His body failing, his health disintegrating, and his life running short. He reached his withered hand out to take the hand of the young CNA tending him. He told the "Boy" (of 21) "To you it is given. You are a good boy, a fine young man." and so with a rattle of breath, and a sigh, a great hero died, passing on his power to a young man of little consequence. The power itself is ancient, now lying dormant in this young man of low ambition.

One extra twist in the power: to use it, one must change into Deus, which can be done at will. However it dis a drastic change in physical form. No matter what the host of the power looks like, when they transform into Deus, they become a strong black man at the peak of physical prowess. They are capable of throwing lightning bolts, incredible feats of strength and invulnerability, and speed, and flight. They are among the few who can go muscle to muscle with The Titan.

I kinda dig that one.
By the way, I finally got Valentine to tell me her backstory. When she was seven, she got on the wrong bus coming home from school, and wound up in a bad part of town where she witnessed a mob-hit. She would testify and she and her parents would be placed in witness protection. She spent years being told how brave she was, and how heroic what she did was, but all she could see was the hardship it placed on her family. When she was 12, her parents and the U.S. Marshal were killed, tortured to death, for her location. So, as she was moved to a new city with a new U.S. Marshal watching over her. She has decided she will do whatever it takes to be the hero her family told her she was.

Her birth name was Penny D'Marco. Until the death of her family, her name was Robin Wright. Now her given name is Michelle Wren. The only person who knows her whole story is the U.S. Marshal, Kelly Rorsch, her handler.

"Apprentice"/"Adept" was born and raised in the Magic Ring. Her father was barely a mage (Which is much like casteless). He ws a loving man who taught her to be inquisitive, and respectful. He died under suspicious circumstances when she was 11. From that point on she was raised by her mother's staff. Her father was Indian, and her mother Norweigien. This combined with the magic she was raised with, has given her her father's dark coffee complexion, but her mother's light honey hair. Her name is Indira Hammad. Her mother is a highly powered Mistress, and the High Mistress (president) of the Magic Ring. The council of Masters (congress) of the Magic Ring have been pushing to advance "Apprentice for years, but since she was Apprenticed to the High Mistress, there was nothing they could do. It was only after Apprentice proved herself during Hacker's trial that the High Mistress was forced to promote her to Adept, and then the Council of Masters went around the High Mistress to appoint Adept to watching over Hacker and Valentine.

My Life As an Undead American

This takes place in my gag-universe. A "Super-Hero" agrees to be the subject of a reality show. It revolves around the fact that he is a Zombie. He explains that he is this way because he pissed off a Houngan in New Orleans, and was damned to know no peace in the afterlife. There was a limit as part of the curse, but our "hero" wasn't listening. He was murdered one year later. Now he spends his ample free time (He doesn't sleep, eat, or bathe) to fight crime. He uses his Zombie powers to bring justice back to New Orleans. That's right, Zombie powers. He's a class five strength, has enhanced senses, and can raise and control dead things. He avoids doing this to humans because they're annoying as hell to control. His primary aplication of that power is his car. a '66 Ford T-Bird, fire engine read... with lots of rust. It doesn't actually have an engine, but when he's behind the wheel it still purrs and roars.

Displacement

In a dystopian post-apocalyptic world ruled by a ruthless dicator, true justice lives on in one man and his followers. he is Lawrence "The Highway" Englebert. For 15 years he has fought the good fight, and on the eve of his victory, the ruthless dicator, Czar Daniel Robertson, decides that if he cannot rule the world, there shall be no world to rule. and he opens a wormhole as an escape route to another world for him to conquor. The Highway and his followers thwart his escape, but are unable to turn off the machine. To his shock, the Highway finds himself pushed through the worm hole by his lover moments before the universe is destroyed.

Now he arrives in a universe of super-heroes. His own counterpart is an accountant in Wisconson, his lover's counterpart is a pop-diva, and his best friend and second-in-command is a super-villain named "Shock-Zilla". How will this warrior adapt to a new world? will he continue to fight? will his lover take his calls? Is that the Czar serving coffee over there?

Conflict Diamond

Michelle "Diamond" Warner was happy being a beauty queen. She took part in at least 3 pagents a year since she was eight. She was a fair bit healthier, physically and emotinally, than one normally assumed from a pagent contestant. The greatest tragedy in her life has been the death of her father, a professional rodeo rider. She has taken her chosen path in life seriously, though made sure to have a life outside of it (cheer leading, and decent grades in school). It wasn't until she was recruited to do a photo-shoot for a notoriously Pro-Choice magazine (Women's rights had always been one of the issues she talked about championing) that she discovered something entirely unbelieveable about herself.

The photo-shoot came under attack by a christian extremist group called "Life For All" (Ironically). She fought and disarmed six of the assailants, and killed the seventh in self-defense. As her step father, a high-ranking police officer, took care of the paperwork she began to realize that not only had she fought like a seasoned expert and martial artist, but she'd known exactly how to handle the weapons, what manuevers to use to out flank them, the term "Out-Flank", and many other things she'd done that day without having every studied a bit of it. She'd always been a pacifist (a concept she found a little immature as she reviewed her new knowledge). She'd never studied war, fighting, or combat.

So she and her step-father began a quest to discover the origins of her knowledge and strength (it seemed no matter how strong her opponent, she was stronger). She learned little from science, and the first few mystics she encountered would only be able to tell her that she was cursed to fight, no matter where she went. They found this to be quite true. Everywhere they went on their journey, they encountered enemies and violent fighting that Michelle had to stop. Eventually she learned that it was the fault of the Hellenistic Gods (Or Helen Mystic as she kept mispronouncing). She sought out the only Greco-roman deity she could find, Artemis (on Earth after having been exiled from Olympus for attempting a coup). Artemis was able to determine she'd been blessed with knowledge from Athena, Strength from Hercules, and intuition from Apollo... and that she was cursed to bring with her passion, aggression, and division where ever she went. The diety that cursed her... Hekate.

In an effort to learn why she'd been blessed (When asked if she had worshipped any Hellenistic Dieties recently she responded "I'm Episcopaillion... I barely worship God.") She and Artemis begin a trek up Mt. Olympus. along the way, Artemis slowly falls in love with the young, beautiful, and powerful woman. as they ascend the mountain it becomes clearer and clearer that they will have to break into the palace of the Gods, and that they will need help.

Confined to the mountain in eternal torment they find two heroes of Greek myth. One sentance to roll a boulder up the mountain each day, only to loose his grip at the last moment and start all over again, until he can push it over the other side. The other is chained to the mountain and having vultures come and eat his organs constantly, only to regenerate them instantly so that his suffering never ends.

Seeing the power these two posses (strength/endurance and regeneration respectively) because of their curses, Michelle frees them (moving the boulder and breaking the chains respectively). together the group of four successfully storm the gates of Olympus. Artemis suddenly disappears only to find herself in a cage meant for Titans (inescapable in otherwords) with the Gods who blessed Michelle. They explained that their understanding was that the girl was meant as a gift for Artemis. They helped to make this already beautiful mortal into the sort of lover Artemis would enjoy. Artemis points out however that the mortal is not interested in women, but men. The Blessing Gods inform Artemis (who has indeed fallen in love with Michelle) that the idea was from a Goddess Artemis had always been close to, Hecate. Artemis informs them that she and Hecate had not been close for some time because Artemis refused Hecate's advances.

Indeed as the three mortals battle the remaining deities (Including a truely awsome battle between Ares and Michelle) Hecate watches in glee. This would certainly teach Artemis to reject her.

Too many ideas running at once.

Also, thought. In a fight between The Doctor, Nathaniel Richards, and Ford Prefect, who would win?

also, additions to my Time Wars stuff. CamTim's ship looks like a door in a door frame. Nothing else. also, when CamTim first meets Spider-Girl and Scarlet Spider, Rogue says "I think you need to meet the doctor."
Spider-Girl: Doctor Who?
(later)
NR: Hellow, I'm Doctor Nathaniel Richards.

Punisher War Journal

Make this dark and dark and gritty like the MAX series but with with superheroes.

Powerful III

Amelia's back in college, trying to make her relationship with Blast Chamber work, and maintain connections with the numerous superheroes she calls friends. But something is sinister in Protean City (her city). There is a new force dominating the underworld. Those gangs, mobs, and organizations who refuse to bend to this new power's will are made examples of. Amelia suspects a female stock broker of being the organization's shadowy leader, "Regina". however the stock broker, Marilyn Wells, seems to be two steps ahead of her... and to know Amelia intimately.

Eventually it is discovered that Regina/ Marilyn Wellls IS Amelia from the future. In the future Amelia's control issues possibly evolve into a need to dominate others (She brags about the depraved things she forces Blast Chamber to do). And after dominating the most difficult targets in her own time, she wants to dominate the most indomitable person she's ever known, herself. Yes, this ***** is twisted.

I'm reviving a slightly date thread for 2 reasons.

1) It's a pretty cool thread.
2) Hopefully the people reading this thread (especially the old timers) can help me out.

I had a hard drive crash about a month ago and lost a lot of stuff. Most of my important stuff was backed up, but I lost a lot of old writing that I had never backed up.

Back in the day, probably 3-4 years ago, there was another thread kind of like this one over on the DC Comics board. I wrote a couple ideas for revamp/Ultimate-like DC characters including Superman and Batman (My Superman was the result of a eugenics program and My Batman was a FBI agent with a split personality). These stories were some of the stuff I lost in the hard drive crash. I've searched and searched all through the boards and archives and can't seem to find this thread so that I can get a copy of these ideas again.

Can anyone find that thread? Or by chance have the stories? I'd greatly appreciate help. I'm hoping that some of us that have been around a long time will remember what I'm talking about.

Okay, no original stuff this time. I was thinking that Marvel had a pretty crafty Idea packaging their latest series of movies together (IM, IH, CA, Thor) and then tieing them all together at the end. I was thinking they could do that with others.

Shang-Chi: do it sort of "Unleashed" meets "James Bond". In the end, Shang Chi gets the choice to join MI-13 or leave the country, he leaves the country bound for Miami

Luke Cage: mostly gritty with one recurring joke... Luke doesn't use foul language (grandma didn' raise a foul mouthed thug). Tyrese Gibson... sort of Spider-Man meets Four Brothers

Iron Fist: more fantasy with the movie being about his training and living in K'un L'un, and saving it from within. at the end it's time for him to return to the outside world.

Misty Knight: Detroit city detective Misty Knight was in Iraq as part of the national guard. and IED takes off her arm and leaves critically wounded. She's a close friend of James Rhodes so Start takes an intrest. he gives her the arm as she's already discharged from the Guard and he doesn't want her to be discharged from the police as well. She gets home and does a Walking Tall on her precinct.

What If... Max Line

What If Reed was the only survivor of the Fantastic Four's rocket?

He spends some time in prison, but given his useful ness as a national security asset (world's smartest freakin' man) he is released. He is used as a consultant on a number of cases. Suddenly Dr. Doom shows up looking to lay the ever loving smack down on Reed. Doom rips through all the soldiers meant to protect Reed, and finally they stand face to face. The battle seems evenly matched at first, Doom's armor matching Reed's powers, but soon their minds come into play and Reed gets annoyed. Not only does he slam Doom into the ground, stripped of his armor, but also reprimands him for putting his own screw ups on other people. Reed hurls Doom out of the compound.

A week later, Doom, attempting to repair and rebuild his armor is shocked to be visited by Reed Richards. Reed volunteers to help Victor fix the dimensional portal that Victor blamed him for fouling up. They fix it, and after a month they venture into the hell dimension where Doom's mother is kept. when mephisto attempts to interfere, Victor prepares a spell, but Reed beats him to it binding Mephisto in a set of chains that are equal parts science and sorcery. Victor looks at Reed in shock, but Reed simply replies "Do you really think I'd be stupid enough to go into a situation unprepared again?"

Doom's mother's soul goes to purgatory and Doom plans to move on. He goes to Reed and talks about how the nation fears him. Reed agrees. He's been sensing it coming on for a while. his government contacts taking his advice less and less seriously. Reed knows it's just a matter of time before they make a lethal error... just like he did. Victor suggests they build a new world, a world where intelligence, not brute force or charisma rules. A world where the poorest citizen recieves the same protection as the ruling class. When Reed sneers at the idea of a socialism, Victor asks how well capitalism is working in the world. Reed takes another week to think. He agrees with Doom, the world needs to be fixed. They agree to start in Doom's homeland. They set up the small Soverignty of Latveria, with Reed and Victor as the Equal Rulers. for years they push forward the boundries of science, push backwards the social inequities, and expand their nation as others lay down their governement for the benefits that Latveria can give them.

Not all is well though, Doom is jealous. Richards is recieving the most attention, the most laud (at least as far as Victor saw things). This was unacceptable. Reed was content to rule side by side with Victor, whom he'd come to regard as a brother. Together they had opened up trade with Wakanda, and formed tenuous alliances with Genosha. Wundagore lay within their borders, and the High Evolutionary barely noticed this. Finally, Victor attempted to frame Reed for abuse of power and denounce him. Reed, with cold fury, told Victor that he shouldn't have become greedy. That in their life times they could ahve been the equal rulers of all Europe in the Latverian Coallition. Reed told Doom to renounce his statement and Reed would forget it happened. Doom attacked. Reed didn't even flinch. He reshapped his vocal cords, and in Doom's voice, gave the selfdestruct codes for Doom's armor. Doom had never told Reed that he had installed this, or what the code was. "You were as a brother to me," Reed regarded coldly, sadly, "If I know anything, it's you." An explosion of fire, metal, magic and gore ends Victor Von Doom.

What if Mr. Immortal had not formed the GLA?

Craig Hollis, rather than being encouraged by what appears to be a super human ability, becomes despondant, desiring his own death even more than before. he takes on the identity of Mr. Immortal and goes to New York to pose as a Super-Villain. However, no matter when happense to him, he still remains alive. Many heroes catch on to his charade and begin to ignore him, knowing it isn't in him to kill a human being. The punisher drops him down an elevator shaft. (yes I stole that from Watchmen). Eventually he attracts the attention of the Human Torch when he walks into the Baxter Building's lobby, puts a gun to his head, and kills himself in front of the blazing hero. Johnny is freaked, but even more so when Craig gets up moments later.

Johnny takes Craig to Mr. Fantastic, who despite a wide battery of tests can't find anything odd about Mr. Immortal except that he gets better after he dies. after asking around, they take Mr. I to Dr. Strange. and Dr. Strange tries to contact the Vishanti regarding the odd young man, but Craig is immediately succed into a strange vortex where he stands ont he same level as many other cosmic beings. In fact, he stands in front of a woman in black in a tattered cloak, her comely body bruised and exposed. "N-n-n-no..." she weeps defiantly.

Craig tries to understand the situation, and then see's the woman's face is that of a skull. This is Death... who percieves his actions as attempts to force himself upon her. This then Leads Craig to a greateer appreciation for his place in the cosmos, especially after he saves Death from the would be ravashings of Thanos, and catches the eye of Infinity.

Marvel Zombies 5: Eat Me!

Marvel Zombies four is dealing with the outbreak of the virus on 616. This deals with the last few straglers on the Zombie world. There are a handful of inhuman and super villain zombies left in New York city, but that isn't where the story starts.

It starts in Milwaukee, where Craig hollis is begging his friends to stop, and just let him go. It has transpired that Craig's inability to die gives a sort of protection from the virus. the moment the virus turns him, he experiences a few fleeting moments of the Hunger, before being reset back to healthy clean living flesh. He is an ever lasting buffet to his former commrades, the GLA (Including both squirrel-Girl, Monkey-Joe, and Grasshopper). it is roughly a year after the events of Marvel Zombies 3 (meaning two years since the outbreak).

All this changes when two figures step into the YMCA where the GLZ have their den. they slaughter the zombies, except squirrel girl who manages to escape, and rescue Craig. It turns out there are surviving sentients. Craig is rescued by Terror inc. (immune because all his flesh is already dead), and Ultron (who is looking to rescue an sentients he can at this point). They are taken to the only other two the group can find; Jim Hammond (the orignal human torch) and Victor Mancha (who never met the runaways in this universe. Technically Victor is infected, HOWEVER, Ultron forced an upgrade of the nanomachinery that is slowly converting Victor so that despite Victor's organic portions being infected, he can turn the Hunger off).

They explain the state of the world to Craig who happily joins a group that won't eat him (little do they know they're being stalked by Squirrel-Girl). as their discussions on what to do continue, Ultrong brings up a point he's obviously made before, he wants to go and find the Vision. For a long time the others have over ridden Ultron by saying that New York had too heavy a population of super-zombies, but Ultron now states his sensors are detecting extremely low numbers of any beings, zombie or living.

Finally, Ultron's wish is granted. They travel in a sentient Fantasti-Car (On-board HERBIE imprinted on Jim Hammond). At first, being told not to, Mr. Immortal follows. His idea is that if he comes they can draw out the last of zombies and wipe them out for good. they follow the vision's signal to it's source, and free him, only to have him attack Craig. It turns out Vision's synthizoid body is close enough to human for the virus to infect. it comes down to Victor to destroy his brother. as the Vision attacks them, the rest of the zombies come out of the woodwork and it's an all out brawl for survival.after believing he's seen Dr. Strange destroy all his remaining friends (in actuallity Dr. Strange just dumped them through an interdimensional window), craig destroys Dr. Strange, and then squirrel-girl... becoming the last sentient being on the planet. the spends the next few years learning to operate the interdimensional gateway, looking for a world where he can be happy. the last shot is of him vanishing and wondering what they hell a giant rock was doing landing in central park (Asteroid M returning with BP and the other refugees.)

The Next Spider-Man game, Spider-Man: Alliances

Some great conspiracy is going on in New York City, and as usual, despite the high population superheroes, it's down to everyone's favorite wall-crawler to save the day. But this time he doesn't have to do it alone. IN this game while roaming the island, you can come across Marvel Heroes, Marvel Villains, and more. Talk with the heroes to gain their trust, battle the villains to win their alliance, but be careful which allies you choose, not everyone plays well with others.

The idea is kind of a combination and expansion of what they tried to do in both "Friend or Foe" and "Web of Shadows". to advance the story line you have to gather allies. However, there would be four types, and on can only have allies from two. The four types would be "Sidekicks", "Heroes", "Villains", and "Rogues". Sidekicks would be perifery spider-man characters like the Black Cat, the Slingers, Rocket Racer, Scarlet Spider, and others of that type.

Heroes and Villains are self explainitory. Rogues would be the most powerful group, and the most difficult to ally with. Rogues are anti-heroes, like Hulk and Punisher, Defenders like Dr. Strange and Submariner, and also Dr. Doom and other villains on that level. Of the Heroes, villains, and Rogues, you can only choose one type. You can switch at any time you want, but you have to start the story-line all over again if you do.

Now, what could make all of this hullabulloo worth a the price of a game? Simple, during special missions, or just to roam the city and fight crime, you can change Spidey out for one of your allies. imagine flying through the skies as the Human-Torch, car-jacking a ride as the scorpion or Shocker. slinging from bilding to building as Doc. Ock. or just porting anywhere you feel as Nightcrawler.

Secret Wars VI: Cosmic War (This is supposedly after the Secret Wars V: Time Wars I want to do). The Nova corp. discover a large rift in the fabric of space time. large as in "A sun might be able to squeeze through". They scan for bio-signs on the other side and the scans finally turn up a result: Ego The Living Planet. After an adjustment by the scanners, other lifesigns are detected... of the same speices as Ego. it comes to pass that the reality is populated by living planets!

In that reality, after some time, Ego became somewhat lonely, and wanted to create for itself progeny. It finally found a way when it stumbled across a little pebble floating in the void... a pebble called "Krakoa". after Examining Krakoa, he learned how to reproduce. The first generation was small, roughly the size of a moon, but as they matured and their intelligence sharpened and they discovered ways to convert existing planets into living planets, their gene pool widened and more full sized living planets began to exist and propigate. they absorbed their inhabitants, and became not only the dominant form of life in their universe, but the only form. But a species that reproduces, but does not die has one un avoidable problem: space. even the infinite universe did not have enough starts (the form of sustinance for the planets) to support them all. and so they broke through to new realities to spread their species and their figurative legs.

A lone member of the Nova Corps. is sent to gather more information about the reality and given enhanced powers to do so undetected. this lone traveler finds a group of planets hiding in a nebula. their leader is a Blue planet bearing a white triangle. It informs him that they are "Sympathetics". the group of planets explain to him that they did not view the beings that were living on them as "parasites", but rather, as their children. A part of the conversion required the scourging of "parasites" by their converters. they see what their species is doing as wrong and want to stop them.
the group consits of the blue planet with a white triangle, Hapeen Aberguh.
.a red and gold planet that has not actually been converted. It's people merely created the shell presented to the world to protect themselves, and simulate the powers of a living planet, it goes by the name of Airun Vold.
A green, and rather flirtatious, planet who's gamma irradiated core grants it even greater power than most LP's. She is known as Zeet Oolc
A black planet with a yellow pole and red belt at it's equator. This was the former homeworld of the Kree and all the detonations of Kree Equipment have granted her power beyond other worlds. She is called Nees Barufel
The final member of the Sympathetics is a younger planet who is the offspring of two converted worlds who held Sympathetic philosophies. The young planet's father, Huncon Bin, was destroyed for his beliefs, and for sheltering "Lower Life Forms" on his surface. Huncon Bin had been allowing a race of arachnids to flourish on his surface. when Huncon Bin was destroyed, only one of the Arachnids survived, taking refuge on the young planet, who'd never hosted life forms of his own. in his feeble and misguided attempts to host the arachnid, he accidently absorbed portions of it's DNA, destroying the arachnid, but empowering the young planet. While he was named Bitwa Percuh by his parents, he changed his colors, from a mottled brown, to bright red and blue, and acts under the name "Shupai Damun"

Meanwhile back in the 616, the Xandar Worldmind is having an internal struggle with it's new host, Ego. the XW wants to protect this reality, while Ego wants to join his people. Galactus is granted a special audience with THE ONE ABOVE ALL who informs him that there is a single planet in the alternate reality that not only is not a LP, but also contains the secret to changing the LP's back, or granting them their "children" again. Galactus needs no further information, he knows only one planet, no matter what reality, could be so unpredictable and dangerous: Earth. So the OAA gathers the only beings he can imagine can fight these beings; Galactus: The Devourer of Worlds, The Phoenix with it's most potent host: Jean Grey,
And of course to the three Cube Pieces: the Beyonder who's games are over... a true call has been put out to theis bizare being, Kubik and his wife Kosmos, And the Skrull Shaper-Of-Worlds (being advised by Xavin and Karolina Dean)

Dude, Zoke's ideas are anything but boring. This thead is a library of great ideas. What have you ever come up with? What ideas have you ever had? Why does this feel like that speach Breen had at the end of Half Life 2?

What If... Spidey and the Civil War

"Peter," Tony tried to sooth. "You have to understand."

"Understand?!" Peter snapped, before reigning his emotions in.

Tony narrowed his eyes, the dropped his hands. "Find, don't understand, make me understand. You didn't know Bill a fraction as well as I did. Help me understand why this is affecting you so bad."

"Finally Peter turned. "And it wasn't just Bill Foster's death that made me snap. It was... You made a God-Damn clone Tony."

"Clone?" Tony asked, before the thought suddenly dawned on him. "Ben Reilly..."

"More to the point," Peter specified. "Kaine."

"I forgot about your clones," Tony admitted.

"I try to as well," Peter sighed. "You created a weapon... a weapon that will at some point have to wonder... Do I have a soul? Where do I stand against my progenitor?" Peter looked at Tony. "At one point I wasn't sure if I was me or a clone. I had to face those questions Tony. With all the problems Kaine had added to himself... I can't imagine being him, but I have an inkling of what it means to be a clone and to questions EVERYTHING you think you know."

Peter took a deep breath. "And now I watch you become the Jackle."

"Technically," Tony said as he sat down in his chair. "The Thor Clone is dead..." Tony looked at Peter intently. "Say the word, and I'll decomission Project Lightening Strike. But we need something to replace it. They have a God and Captain America on their side. Sooner or later this is going to end in tears. I started the Project to try and... preclude that."

Peter thought long and hard. "Re-task," Peter suggested. "Don't decomission. Let the Clone rest in peace... go to Valhalla... if that's even still there."

"What do we retask the Project for then?" Tony asked, glad to see Peter being proactive.

"In words and engineer would understand?" Peter asked. "We reverse engineer. and instead of building the exact same thing, we see if we can apply the benefits to pre-existing weapons."

"We create Gods?" Tony asked. "Didn't work that well with our clone."

"He hadn't lived, he had only the basic Thor mindset, that of a norse warrior on the rampage. Introduce that level of power into someone you already trust... that is a god you can work with."

"Splicing divine genetic code into a living subject?" Tony gasped. "I don't even know if that can be done."

Peter smiled. "Trust me, It's possible."

Three Days later...

"Herr Stark... I must object again to being replaced by an amatuer," Baron Von Blitzshlag reiterated.

"That amatuer's creations didn't kill a little girl," Tony replied coldly to the previous head of Project Lighting Strike.

"In other words," Hank Pym smiled. "can it."

With a "woorp" a koala that had just demonstrated high level invulnerability was just sent to a containment cell in the raft, care of the Spot.

"Thank you Dr. Ohn," Peter said with a smile. "Thus experiment three demonstrates that "Divinity Segments" are capable of being bonded with mundane mammals. If you will now direct your attention to the monitor.... Prof. Richards."

Reed activated a device and the koala appeared to begin moving at super-speed around it's simulated environment, which began growing plantlife at an excellerated rate. just as suddenly, it all stopped.

"And Experiment four show that long-term cohesion of these genetic bonds," Peter concluded. "The process is now ready for human, advanced human, and mutant testing." Peter nodded to Tony. This was a moment he'd been waiting for. Tony had be arranging a list of people under consideration for the alteration process.

"Well," Tony said. "I have prepared a list. I want this process done on a few people as possible. Which means I hope my first candidate says yes, so I don't have to ask others.

Peter smiled, liking that attitude.

"Peter," Tony said turning away from the small crowd of scientists and facing the youngest of the group. "Would you be willing to be a god for us?"

Dark Reign: Days Yet To Come

Reed is already uncomfortable with the direction the future is heading. Suddenly he found himself in another world... New York 50 years in the future. H.A.M.M.E.R. and it's director have, for all intents and purposes, consolidating control of not just America, not just the world, but the newly formed "I.P.P.A" (Inter-Planetary Peace Alliance, an Earth Empire that now rivals even the Shi'Ar). Leading the world is the Executive Operations Director Harold Osborn Jr. Just as he's absorbing all of this he is picked up by an android that looks a lot like Same Wilson. He is flown to an underground facility in New Jersey. as he walks through the facility a figure in a green hood and cloak greets him warmly as "My old friend". the sign behind the hooded man reads "New Doomstadt"

50 years have taught Victor Von Doom humility, though not how to age, he shows no signs of advanced age. Victor explains that Harold Osborn Jr. is in fact Norman Osborn posing as his own great-grandson. It's unknown if it's the Goblin formula keeping him alive, or if he found a different way to cheat death. Victor broke the alliance with Norman 40 years ago with Namor and Emma Frost. Norman went on a Global Domination kick, but thanks to the planning, succeeded. He even wrested Latveria from Doom's control. now, Namor is dead, Emma is in prison or dead. The hood's successor, a ruthless criminal known as that took up his father's mantle as "The Shocker", runs the criminal underworld at Osborn's command.

Spider-Man was killed two years after Osborn took control of H.A.M.M.E.R. Osborn launched a crusade on all vigilates, and made Spider-Man face of the enemy. Xavier's school was subsidized to the Government and is now used as funnel for the Initiative. The Few X-Men who refused were labled as "vigilantes" or "Terrorists". most killed. Wolverine was captured and had his memory once more erased. He works for the government.

The Human-Torch, upon hearing of Spider-Man's murder, attempted revenge, but was killed instantly. The remaining Fantastic Four disbanded. Susan lived long enough to see her children graduate high school, but when both were recruited, she killed herself. Ben tried going abroad to escape Osborne's control, but to no avail. He then joined the Inhumans, which meant the Kree to escape Osborne. He died in battle against the IPPA. Reed continued the meager research he was allowed to do without working for HAMMER. When Victor rebelled against Osborn the two struck up an alliance, Reed secretly supplying Victor's resistance. They eventually came to consider eachother friends. Franklin became a fighter pilot and married his childhood sweetheart, Katie Power. They had a son, David, who possess reality altering abilities. He also posesses limited telepathy that very few know about. David was raised very close to, who was believed to be Norman Osborn Jr. When David heard the truth in Norman's mind, he turned to Doom. Valeria is still alive technically. Her body was long ago disposed of, but her brain was so advanced, it is being used as the central hub of Osborn's network. It is believed her persona is in a deep coma.

The Avengers are now comprised of Initiative Graduates that are of undying loyalty to HAMMER and more specifically Osborne. The Initiative yielded two great, but uknown prizes to Osborne; The Immortal and Squirrel Girl. Craig Hollis has been embittered by the constantly changing world, and while he still has bouts of sucidal deppression, he has become a highly trained soldier. Squirrel Girl, after a bad battle with AIM and Hydra (instigated by Osborn) needed a transfusion, the only matching blood type around was Craig. She has aged, and now appears to be in her 40's, though still shapely. It is unknown how extended her life will be by the transfusion.

Doom's resistance is made of Flag Smasher, the child of Victor Mancha and Nico Minoru, The Phoenix (David Richards), Merc, a mutant with photographic muscle memory that was trained by the Taskmaster, and an unknown Mole within HAMMER's custodial staff.

One of the more twisted things of Osborn is the "Death Room". Osborn has an entire room dedicated to generating clones of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, souly for the purpose of torturing and killing them. The day Reed arrive, an unexpected event happens; one of the Peter Parker clones isn't completely killed. a hidden subroutine, placed by the mole, has the near dead clone sent out with the trash rather than to the incinerator. A message to Doom later and Peter Parker is being treated in new Doomstadt.

Ultimate 2099

Like my Ultimate MC2, this has nothing to do with the ultimate universe or current continuity perse. just a bit of fun.

Steve Rodgers wakes up in a bizzarre jungle of a city. he is confronted by the Grandmaster, who plucked him from his slumber and has a challenge for him: This planet, and city especially, is filled with metahumans causing all manner of chaos in the lower levels (the higher levels have a lower density of meta-humans and are a good deal safer and more expensive). Whether they are mutant, enhanced, cyborg, or (in the case of the poorest) spell-casters, this world has a high super-human to human ratio. (Somewhat like Kingdom come, but without the old school heroes). The grandmaster gives Cap a year to make a dent in the problems of this world, or he will never reach home.

Steve starts researching and after two months of digging, skulking, and stealing, he approaches his first target. A researcher by the name of Miguel O'Hara (Already Spider-Man). Steven confronts him with the truth about not only his powers and name sake, but also of his heritage (Miguel's great grandmother was May "Mayday" Parker-O'Hara). Eventually Spider-Man joins the 2099 Avengers.

Next he approaches a young woman trying to fight the demons and monsters being loosed on the streets by amatuer sorcerers like herself. He approaches her and says that he found an item that has been calling to her. an item he found in the ruins of a townhouse on Bleeker St. She easily identifies the legendary Lost Eye of Agamotto. Her name is Sophia Strange (No relation, she changed her name from Sefton (Yes relation)). She has a PhD. in Theology. She is now Dr. Strange Sorceress Supreme.

Next they approach a young woman in prison framed for killing a hooker. She has an impressive pedigree, Descended from Rachel Sumers-Grey-Wagner, and Benjamin Grimm). She is a mutant with an elastic body and an obscenely high I.Q. She did live in the slum areas, but rose quickly because of her I.Q. She was sexually harrassed at her internship, and when she threatened to turn the man in, he framed her for the murder of a Prostitute (it is known she's a lesbian). Her name is Meagan Walker, but she now being called "Ms. Fantastic".

The Hulk, John Eisenhart, joins, especially when he finds out that he is descended from Rick Jones. Though his quickly diverging mind is a source of worry.

and finally Cecil MacAdams, a Thorite Priest, wishes to take the role of Thor, but is unsuccessful. They travel to the Ruins of Earthly Asguard (left in Kansas after an Asguardian Civil War). There umongst the rubble is a Hammer, but not the Hammer of Thor, this is Stormbreaker. Cecil keeps his name and is known merely as "The Thorite"
