Batman Begins Anybody enjoy BB even MORE now you've seen TDK?

Yes, The Dark Knight makes Batman Begins part of something grander.

I imagine watching them back to back would be excellent.

I love both to death..... but TDK has
Joker & Two-Face

Agreed...I can't wait until the DVD so I can do so...

why is that in spoiler tags? Im pretty sure everyone knows joker and harvey/two- face are in it.

I enjoy it less actually, since TDK showed me what an actual good Nolan bat-film can be.

It's the first Batman movie ever, where there feels as though there was a continuing story...

And while Nolan, like Burton, change certain things to fit his 'current' tastes... it still feels incredibly in line with the vision of the original.

So... yes!

I haven't watched BB since watching TDK. :(

I definitely enjoy it more. Just to know that right after it the story continues into something grander, something more incredible. It really puts a smile on my face.
:hoboj:

Oh yeah. I enjoy it a lot more actually. BB rocks. Can't wait to own TDK so I can watch them together.

I have more respect for Nolans vision after seeing another film in his universe.

I certainly do. I can't wait to watch these films back to back either.

It's actually done the opposite I'm afraid. I now notice the flaws in Begins a lot more since TDK obviously improves on these areas and as such, now feels like an inferior film to me...

It upsets me a bit

No, I still enjoy it as much as I always did.

But it seems very inferior now compared to TDK.

A lot more actually. I appreciate the things they established and the time they took focusing on Bruce all the more now. If TDK was the first film, as grand as it is, I don't think it would be the masterpiece we consider it to be now

I appreciate the usage of older architecture in Begins. Wayne Tower, Wayne Manor, Arkham Asylum. It really made Gotham feel like it had a bit more history to it. There were touches of that in TDK, especially in the opening bank robbery, but not as much as I would have liked to have seen.

I also prefer Begins' tumbler chase scene, watching Bruce become Batman, the quick shots and closeups of him using the grappling gun, the use of the batarangs, the Batcave.

The two films marry quite well, though, IMO. TDK starts off with Batman being more or less 'accepted' in the big city; to such an extent that he is actually living there and operating from it's heart, and the 3rd film could show him literally returning to the underground, from whence he came. Only this time, both he and his cave and mansion will have been transformed dramatically.

Yes. The two films complete each other, and it makes the viewing experience much more entertaining.

I guess, in some way, I do. But BB was always a great film in my opinion.
