The Dark Knight Will there be more action then there was in BB?

You made a ******ed statement with your brainfart about the 'majority' not liking BB's action sequences. Can you provide me a verifiable source for this claim? Numbers? Statistics? By all means you are free to speak for yourself but who the hell authorized you to act as a mouthpiece for this 'majority'?

Stop being a jackass. He said: "I think the majority". If you want to be a jerk because you're in a bad mood, don't read the thread. Go throw your little b**** fits somewhere else.

BB had a nice deal of action. Just nothing that memorable. I hope that changes with TDK.

Since the first movie was 70% spent with the origin story and then 30% to the action because they then had the action out of the way, i think they have no option but to have more action. not much more origin to cover. But then batman never has action fights with the joker so we'll see

They need more Batman. It is the most important part of the first being produced as a introduction.

There's going to be a lot more going on in this movie than in Begins. BB was awesome, but it seemed to be mainly just a setup to TDK. It seems like if any Batman movie is going to have a lot of action, then it would be this one for sure with all the villians and chaos on the loose, and the fact that Batman's origin has been told in full.

I hope they do the "classic" joker fight from the killing joke/mad love etc

The presence of the Joker alone should emphasize how action packed TDK should be. I would be mad as hell if I see no action improvement from BB.

It has to have more action than the first one. I'll probably get a little stabby in the theater if I have to sit through an hour of Joker origin before he does something hilariously sociopathic. But it looks as though this won't be the case. I must commend the filmmakers for setting the sequel up with a great opportunity for one hell of an inciting incident.

The amount of action was good in BB, but a big part of the execution sucked.

one of the producer actually said hew hoped the fans dig the more action oriented version of bats.

p.s.

Fenrir - be quiet.

BB left me cold cuz there ws hardly any action, or any good action sequences. and thats not even mentioning the horrendous choppy editing work thrown in to those fights. but will TDK actually be awsome? BB was kinda not so awsome and IMO kinda boring, it was too much about the hows and whys and katie holmes and whatnot and just yawn, but TDK has suuuuuch potential to be cool, since there looks to be none of that orgin crap in this, and you have the Joker, and maybe even a new 2face. but do you think there will be more awsome action like there was in B89 and do you also think that there will finallly be a cool batmobile chase scene and really usering the batmobile to its full advantage instead of just outrunning ppl? also, do you think they will stop the horrible editing and make the fights visible and enjoyable? i know there are some ppl who didnt mind the BB fights, but i think the majority thinks that the less then perfect fight scenes could have be been so much more enjoyable if the camera stayed still for just 2 seconds.

I could honestly careless, I thought BB's was more than fine, and if it is indeed bad, I am so wrapped up in the movie I don't even notice it, it's pure magic and I hope they don't sway to far from form

Of course there's gonna be more action. There's less exposition needed and we have a much bigger villain in the picture.

If bat's riot-suit and his brand new batcycle is any indication, then yes.

The amount of action was fine. I'd like to be able to see it this time.

Oh for the love God I hope so. The over exposition in Begins was terrible.

I don't mind whether there is more or less action...

however i want the action shown to be of the highest quality and edited properly..

the action scenes from begins were quite clearly a complete and utter joke.

Agreed, the action in Batman Begins was awful. I liked the movie but Nolan needs to get some help with the action stuff this time around.

IMHO Bats is more about the characters and stories not action so the lack of wow-ish asskicking scenes doesn't bother me.

You want more action?

Be careful you're on a sliperry slope toward 'Batman and Robin' territory.

What made Begisn so great was the story was complimented with the right amount of actiuon and rightly executed.

the WORST thing that can happen to TDk or the movie afterward is that it concentrate on being all out action so that it doesn't have to fully have a compelling storyline.

I like characters with depth as well, but if you're a heterosexual male that says you dont' want any action at all in your movies, well....I don't know what to tell you. :o

I don't want MORE action, I want BETTER action. And just as too much action can lead to B&R territory too little can lead to Superman Returns territory, although to be fair the script, dialog and acting in that film were average at best.

There was plenty of action in BATMAN BEGINS.

1. Prison fight
2. Swordfight with Ra's on the lake
3. Another swordfight with fake Ra's/rescuing Ducard
4. Engaging Falcone and his thugs
5. Batmobile chase
6. Fighting Scarecrow and his thugs
7. Combat with ninjas
8. Gliding sequence
9. Train sequence

And that doesn't include all the miniature action moments here and there throughout the film. Could you see it all real well? No, but there was plenty of action, and it was well executed.

I'm pretty sure Nolan is aware that the quick action shots bothered people. It was in a lot of reviews.
