Do you think there will be the same amount of comedy in TDK as there was in BB? Or maybe even more or less. I think BB had the perfect amount of comedy, so I wouldnt mind if TDK had the same.

Yeah. Little moments of funny stuff but not camp. Just sly humor. Maybe joker should crack something funny once but once is enough

Joker will do evil things in a funny way, and make us laugh.

But we'll feel uncomfortable about doing so.

I could see a bit more comedy, though it will be a bit darker humour thanks to the Joker. Nolan knows enough to stay away from the campy cheesiness of the previous films, so I definitely don't mind a bit of well-placed humour in his movies.

Probably see a lot of dark humor with the Joker like his truck, and perhaps the occasional sarcastic remark from Gordon and Batman, (almost certainly about the batpod and his suit), but not much else. I just don't want to see too much self-aware humor, like any jokes about Harvey being "of two minds" or any of that crap before his transformation, i hate that...

Huh--I rarely, if ever, laugh uncomfortably at Joker's jokes; I'm quite comfortable laughing at them. :woot:

...

Does that make me a bad person? :csad:

I won't feel uncomfortable about it. That's what im waiting for, that's why I love the Joker. He's a sick and twisted ****!

As for comedy, BB was alright. A little bit less would be appreciated but definetly no more than what was in BB. I like the jokes like,
Alfred: Sir, the guests will be arriving soon.
Bruce: Tell them that joke you know.

THe ones that need to be kept out of this film are those damn studio forced jokes that nod to the audience. Treates us like morons. Like,

Gordon: I got to get me one of those.

Random stupid Bum thrown in just for the line: Whoa, nice ride!:whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

Exactly.
And did anyone notice that the bum was Boris The Blade?

It is! That's the first bum though. I was talking about the black bum that comes up to the tumbler when Gordon gets to the right spot to blow up near the end.

Yeah i dint get that. Have some of that crap (gives the dumb bums hwat htey want) but have a little more clever humor. Does any of you guys get why that leauge of shadows person dressed like a cop just randomly points at rachel?

I thought it was the same bum? Maybe just for the two coat references...

They dressed like cops and swat to not look out of place. Also to cross the bridge, not every cop is going to know every cop in a major city.

He points at Rachel in a manner meaning. "Stay back *****"

i just dont wanr Batman really having that many funny scene

Brcue Wayne yes... but Batman no

Joker should obviously have a couple lines that dont make you laugh out loud hillrious but kind of chuckle

I thought it was just a warning for her to back off because she was yelling at him for pushing the kid away.

i thought the way they handled the comedy with Alfred and Bruce Wayne was the best and theys shouldnt lose that

a well as Lucious Fopx and Wayne

I agree! That's the comedy I don't mind. It's the other kind I mentioned in my above posts that I don't want in. The eye rolling, hemorage inducing kind.:woot:

Uh, why? And how?
Why? Because they already used the coat guy twice for sure, and how? because i don't remember a random, inane, and pointless two-second portion of the movie where an unrecognizable actor playing a bum says two words while there is a black tank screaming down the street to distract me. Sue me.

It wasn't when the Tumbler was in motion. It was when Gordon stopped it at the tracks to shoot. The scene with the black bum coming up to say the line would have been hard to miss.

By asking how, I meant that one actor, the Nice Coat actor, was white. And the Nice Ride actor was black.
