Anyone ever seen a ghost?

Seriously, isn’t it possible that ghosts just don’t want to be photographed and therefore they’ve become very adept at avoiding it? I mean, look at Sasquatch, he has been able to avoid being photographed aside from some grainy pics here or there. :oldrazz:

The most logical explanation is that there are beings that we don't know about. I like to cast a large net. It keeps me from being wrong all the time.

I have heard shouting or laughing in the woods while jogging and in a abandoned building but I'm fairly certain those were someone screwing with me.

I've always been pretty sensitive to ghosts/spirits energy. That sensitivity is not as high as it once was when I was younger, in my teens and 20's. I see and hear things now and then. The strongest was last summer when my friend died. I felt his presence and heard him. Seeing him was a little trickier, it was more of an outline of his body. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind. Hell something was floating around my room other night.

No, but I had a case of sleep paralysis once... this shadow man entered my room and shouted my name in a weird demonic like voice.

o_O

I'm rolling my eyes so hard right now that I'm afraid they get stuck up there.

Ok, what IF. WHAT. IF. What we "see" is some residual energy from another dimension?

Could be. Probably not, but it could be the case. There's a large gap between that and actually claiming to be able to talk to dead people. Newsflash.. it's not possible.

I do think that: if it's correct that energy doesn't die (and since we are part energy), we actually never die. We do die but there's a part of us that doesn't.

I’m skeptical about their existence but in saying that I once saw something I can’t explain.

This was back when I was in High School & my mate was staying over. We were both asleep and we both awoke suddenly and we could see the outline of someone or something stood in front on where my TV was. Now that in itself might not sound that scary but given I had a digital alarm clock which displayed the time in bright green letters that we couldn’t see because of whatever was stood in front of it and it was ****ing scary. We both said what is that, now if it had just been me who saw it I’d have thought I was dreaming but my mate saw it too. Somehow we did both fall back asleep though.

Probably an alien. It zapped you back to sleep with it's mind controlling capabilities.

I go on Ghost tours all over the United States, NY, NJ, Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, Washington State, South Carolina. I've never really encountered anything but in Washington, we met at their office and there was some macabre things that just make me feel uneasy.

While I've never actually "seen" a ghost. I've had multiple ghostly encounters. I'll mention the 2 creepiest ones.

First, when I was 17, my friends and I heard about an old abandoned farm house that was supposedly haunted. So we decided to go check it out. The main living area was fine. No sounds, no creepy vibes, just a dark empty house. The basement was a different story. It was small; maybe 12x15 feet. No windows. Nothing was down there except a small table. We were down there for maybe a minute, when all of sudden one of my friends started screaming. He rips his shirt off, and there's 3 large gashes in his back. We quickly looked around to see if maybe there was an animal or something that could've attacked him, but there was nothing. We quickly booked it out the house.

Then, a few years later, I was living in a country home that belonged to my grandpa. He was on vacation in Florida, so it was just me living there. The house was secluded. Closest neighbor was about a mile and a half down the road. One evening, while in the shower, I heard a knock at the bathroom door. I was startled, but figured it was my mind playing tricks. But it happened again a minute later. There was no mistaking this sound. It was clearly the sound of knocking on that door. I jumped out and opened the door, and there was nothing. I searched the whole house. There's no explanation.

Was your friend's shirt ripped?

I've heard water pipes that sound like knocking.

I meant to add that to my original post. No, his shirt was not ripped. It was a couple hours later we noticed that. Made the whole thing that much more creepy.

I have not seen a ghost.
I have seen Bryan Singer's career floating around.
NOT A GHOST, BUT DEFINITELY DEAD!

As long as we are talking about ghosts, what about reincarnation?
Has anybody ever had dreams that felt like MEMORIES?
Or , have you ever known precise details about place you have never been to or a person you haven't met?

I'll add one more: regarding past lives, has anyone ever had a past live regression? Not via YouTube, but guided by someone who technically knows what they are doing.

I thought that I’d resurrect (no pun intended) this thread based upon a discussion that a work friend and I had a few weeks ago. During a lunch conversation we realized that he grew up down the street from my wife and I lived in, which was actually the first house we’d ever owned. My friend had moved out years before we lived there but he mentioned that the neighborhood kids were afraid of my house because they were convinced that the people who lived there were satanists. He mentioned that the neighborhood kids had looked into one of the windows and saw pentagrams drawn on the wall. The room that he described was the room that we used for our kids.
That reminded me that for about a year, when my oldest son was about 4 and our youngest son was 2, they shared this room and my oldest son would never stay in the room all night. We would always find him laying next to our bed the next morning. They were also always scared to be in a room by themselves.
One night, I was walking by that room and I heard a female voice talking in the room. Before I could look in, my oldest son started crying and ran out of the room. I looked in and no one else (aside from my 2 year old who was sleeping) was in there.
I still have no explanation for that.
