Anyone remember the old Eddie brock from either SM1 or 2 DVD?

I remember either deleted scenes or outtakes seeing a large eddie brock for a bout 6 seconds and he was in JJJ's office.

Can anyone post pics of him or tell me which he was in....sm1 or 2?

he was never filmed so theres no footage, the original eddie was R.C. Everbeck but they didnt film him in any shots

R.C. Everbeck was a pimp and would have been great as the "Amazing" version of Eddie Brock.

Wouldn't it suck to be that guy? Be given the part, then not have your scenes filmed, and then they recast your character in a sequel.

I KNOW FOR A FACT that i remember seeing him, blonde hair, glasses he handed JJJ something and then got kick out of his office after glancing at pete...this was on a DVD someone back me up.

I never saw it but I knew his scene was cut. It would be awesome to see that though.

His name was only heard in #1. I dont remember a deleted scene with him.

I'm pretty sure I even remember reading Everbeck saying that himself in an interview, around the time the first time came out. Something along the lines of "I wouldn't want to be the guy that suddenly gets replaced in a later movie!"

But ah well.... I think chances are that the reason his cameo was cut from the first movie was that probably they didn't think he would ever be a satisfying choice for Venom in the future, so they didn't actually want to have to technically recast in a future movie. But who knows.

In the 2002 film Spider-Man, it is mentioned that a Daily Bugle photographer named "Eddie" hasn't been able to get a good photo of Spider-Man. Presumably this is Eddie Brock, and in the novelization of the film Eddie actually has a cameo and is mentioned by his full name, with J. Jonah Jameson unwittingly making an ironic allusion to Venom by screaming "Next time, get a decent suit!". Brock was set to be played by R.C. Everbeck and a cameo role was filmed, but was cut during production, later to be restored in the DVD edition of the movie.

i HAVE SEEN THIS SCENE i used to own special edition which had sm 1 and 2 maybe it was that? i still have it somewhere...

trust me i would'nt make this up hes wearing a white button up with a tie and he's rippped.
