and Halle is good but I don't know what to think of her sometimes... one moment she looks very sweet and all and the other time not really...

Welcome to the Hollywood. It's almost impossible to determine a persons real personality from certain sources (tabloids, etc.) and from certain people (the paprazzi, for example). The thrive on manipulating viewers into buying their products at any cost. No matter who they effect. I trust REAL sources. Things like interviews with Halle in person. Those are pretty much the only types of things you can trust when it comes to celebrity gossip these days.

like I said before maybe Storm just didnt see Jean and Jean, or it could be that she was scared too...LOL "hell no.. Jean is goign to kill me, time to bounce" LOL, J/K!!!

She done what any leader of the X-Men should be doing. She seen sense in what Logan said (at least, I think she did... it didn't seem to make much sense on the whole) and went to get the students and humans to safety. She is the leader, and this is the leaders responsibility.

Every thread turns into a Jean vs. Storm thread. Cant we all just get along? :( *Tear*

I don't think this is true. For those who actually do try and turn it into a versus thread, ignore them, the problem will eventually go away. But I haven't seen that type of thing here in this thread yet. No 'Storm's power beats Jean's power' as of yet. It's a thread on why Storm turned on Jean, and from what I've seen, people have been discussing exactly that. So let's stop bringing up this type of thing, it just sends it off-topic and is quite pointless. ;)

In fact, let's just get this back to why Storm turned on Jean in X-Men 3, shall we? I think we've indulged the other subpoint quite enough.

I add more emphasis on what Lightning said. :)

If you read the last page the thread IS off topic. I was trying to bring this thread back on topic. You may have your opinions, but dont tell me to ignore these people when I can easily tell them to stop. Sorry, you're wrong.

Yes... I can see that. Especially in this post.

Not even my attempt at trying to turn this thread back on topic was useful... sometimes I just feel like giving up.

And for the record, I wasn't trying to be mean or anything when I used your quote. I was just trying to end the ranting that's throwing this thread further into oblivion.

Then why didnt you use the most meaningful part of my post?

Oh and about the "Worst English Ever" post, that was just to smooth things over with a silly comment so everyone could cool down.

Look, I had no idea that my post would start another fight. I wasn't trying to upset anyone. Cool down.

I'm going to say this one last time. Jean never leading the X Men and dying had nothing to do one thing with the another, and is not bashing, read my post again, I never said that "she died because she never lead the x men" is just facts of her history, you just dont get it. this thead is WAY off topic, I take your apology, and I respect your disagreement on my post and I thank you for your more mature aproach this time around, but check my post again and try to understand that The Jean I love was the Jean before the Phoenix, thats all, the fact that she never lead the X men is one of the things I liked about her, she had insecurities like a lot of us do, and she never steped to the plate cause that was her nature and I could relate, I felt like huging her (as cheesy and dumb as it might sound) I always thought she had something special in her and her being in her own shadow brough a lot of her nicest and greates characteristics, she was a sweetheart, and sorry if I wasnt as specifically sweet about her, is just that I have been hurting for 22 years cause the Jean I love, is no more, thats all. I hope now that we agree to disagree we can satay on topic.

P.S You also said I didnt spelled Halle's name right...nope sir, I wasnt even refering to her, I said "hella" a slang for "Hell off" just saying in case you try to say something like that again, a lot of people here use slang.

Electrix has a point there, still I love Jean so I would give her another chance....but I agree with the fact that what Jean has done is way to big to say: hey, let´s forget it and watch the TV?.....still, the fact that Jean would not be accepted again in the school makes me wonder if there could be a return of Jean in a possible X4 (if that movie is filmed)....apart from the problem with bringing her back to life and all that, she wouldn´t find it easy to return to the school.
Maybe Xavier could forgive her, but Storm? She was too angry with her old friend....Logan would forgive her...

I would have liked a Jean against Storm fight to let it all out, so they could at least have had more interaction in the film, they do not speak to each other at all, or I am wrong? I do not remember them speaking in any scene....

Yeah it would definitely not be easy. That's one of the things I'm currently working on in my rewrites. I posted a scene dealing with Ororo's anger over Jean being back, it's in the rewrites section. Opinions welcome!

Yeah, I don't think they spoke at all.

No one spoke to her except Logan. As if it was his God-given-right to be the one and only one who saves her, and I feel that's wrong.

Also good point that Jean wouldn't be so easily accepted back into the school. Depending on her condition and mental state after she survives, there certainly would be alot of rifts. Certainly Ororo would be angry at her for a long time until some ways could be found to mend the damage. Has some great potential to set up conflicts where the school is divided. Some people support Jean, others avoid her. Excellent possibilities!

but there are ways to help mend the wounds felt at the school, and to certainly give Jean reasons to forgive herself and be able to live with herself. Having realized that she didn't kill Scott like they all thought she did and he's found alive would be one way. Showing that Charles X survived his encounter and found safety in another body and taking a kinder, more understanding approach with her would be a big help too.

Certainly those two factors would lessen Ororo's anger. And Nightcrawler could help Ororo be more at peace with herself and at peace with a few choice words of wisdom and faith, like we saw him do so touchingly in X2.

Nightcralwer is gone..in the movie. And i'd have to slightly dissagree. Ororo would want to help Jean the best way she could. She wouldn'y be afraid to talk to Jean, more likely, she'd wanna help her and talk to her. I really can't say if were talking about movie storm because she just needs help...
