I was watching BB for the millionth time this weekend and got to thinking about the visual interpretations of Batman's rogues in the film. Nolan was able to have Scarecrow and Ra's (OK, the Watanabe imposter) be identifiable as the comic characters and at the same time be realistic.
It all comes down to defining details. For Ra's, it's the funky chin beard, for Scarecrow, it's the mask.
In keeping with this asthetic, does anyone else think Nolan might throw out most of Joker's look except for his most identifiable details? I think it's highly likely that we could get a bald Joker--given that a) the green hair is the least believable part of his look, and b) a chemical bath would naturally cause one's hair to fall out.
