I am barely on episode 16 of Season 2 so bare with me. Are there any rumors of any crossovers with any of the Netflix characters in the future? It seems like two totally seperate universes with no interaction.

It's being produced ultimately by the same people. I wouldn't be terribly shocked by a reference, but there's no indication of plans to crossover just yet. Although both reference the movies so they're clearly in the same universe.

Well, Punisher is coming to Daredevil, and we know that 'Micro' is a friend of Skye's and a member of the Rising Tide.

Personally, I think it would also be pretty cool for Angar, The Screamer to make an appearance on Daredevil, since that's where initially debuted in the comics.

Also, the shows have already referenced each other. Matt's dad boxed with the Absorbing Man.

I don't think they will cross over in the forseeable future. I don't even think they will explicitly reference each other. But there are some small things, like Matt and Daisy having been at the same orphanage, that make them somewhat connected.

G'day,

They can cross them over anytime they want. I wouldn't be surprised if AOS characters help start the Defenders. Also during the Infinity Wars I expect we wil see major crossovers.

I thought the "same orphanage" thing has been debunked because they didn't actually name the orphanage in Daredevil (people were confusing it with the pre-school some character's kids were getting into).

I haven't heard about any crossovers.

Skye's orphanage is St. Agnes
DD's orphanage is St. Agnes

Both referred to by name.

No, Mike Murdock is right. I looked it up, Matt's orphanage is never mentioned by name. Foggy just talks about a daycare with that name in an earlier episode.

Not sure how they would crossover. Different flavours of tv show. Netflix are aimed at adults while aos is a family show.
Why would shield be interested in street level heroes or problems? That would be a job for the police. Shield are interested in global threats. You could say they are interested in people with powers but with the terrigen crystals changing people there might be quite a few to deal with.

Hope they find a way though as long as it doesn't come across as forced.

SirStrangeFolk already said what I wanted to say, but I'll try and make it clear. Think which episode you think Daredevil's orphanage was mentioned and then watch the episode. I took it for granted as well when people pointed it out that it was the same until other people said they checked it out and it wasn't. So, rather than just say I'm wrong, why not give the episode and time stamp it gets said. After all, I would be thrilled to be wrong, but I trust the people who said they specifically checked it out than those who seem to recall it being said.

I don't recall a specific instance where they said he went was raised in St Agnes. But I do know for certain Foggy mentions it in the second episode. When he and Karen are at Josie's bar and he points out all the tough looking guys and last one he says like "Okay he really is a criminal, but he's turning it around. We're this close to getting his kid in St. Agnes daycare. St Anges!"

I wouldn't mind a crossover, if it makes sense. Because they do inhabit different spheres and are tonally different. AoS is more globe spanning spies, Netflix series are more down to earth, under the radar, local city stuff. At least so far it is, that might change with Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. I don't think Shield would be concerned with street level crime, that's more for police and FBI. And I don't want them to force a crossover for the sake of marketing. However I think we'll see and hear much more references specifically in AoS, because that's a reference-happy show already. If there is a crossover it'll be one or two parter in AoS, they have much more episode slots and their stories are flexible enough to go on a tangent like that.

Yeah, but that's a daycare, not an orphanage. I made that argument earlier, that people are getting it mixed up with the name of Matt's orphanage.

I think it'd be cool to have May or Coulson enter the Netflix world. I think those are the only two characters worth interacting with the Netflix series. I'd like to see Coulson and May fight under the direction of DD's stunt guys.

I know AoS is gonna deal with powered individuals in the upcoming season, but I totally feel like they'd be more equipped to handle like The Hand and fight ninjas. Reference those things like K'un-L'un in an roundabout way. But eh, whatevs.

Its only a matter time. Once all the Netflix shows have been released, and have found there feet, I would expect to see some character crossover. Even if it's a casual interaction.
I could totally see Kingpin hiring Ward to obtain some Shield and Hydra secrets.
Misty Knight investigating the aftermath of a superhero crime scene, and Coulson pops up.

I was thinking about this question earlier. Now that project caterpillar is a thing, Skye popping up on any netflix series or vise-versa wouldn't come across as contrived.

There's specifically a scene in Daredevil that takes place in St. Agnes Orphanage. That's where Stick finds him as a blind kid.

The orphanage is never named, though. If you're sure it is, could you give a minute mark of the episode or something, I'd love to be proven wrong.

Right. The orphanage is in Stick's episode. Go watch it again and tell me the time stamp you see it mentioned?

I think Kevin Feige said in a recent interview to expect a few more interactions between the various television shows and films. I'd love to see a Matt and Coulson interaction at some point. Maybe one of the Inhumans hires Matt as his attorney, or something.

I'll bet there'll be some inside references here and there while keeping the show totally separate just for fun and to echo off something totally different. Explicit crossovers I think would mar the Netflix and ABC series though.

I kind of think post-Infinity Wars maybe Marvel should take a similar approach with their movies.

Problem might be that Marvel TV is still under Perlmutter and Feige's not directly involved with the shows. So, interactions between the TV/Netflix shows are likely, but probably not with the movies.
