What about say, characters exclusively created for a DC or Marvel animated series, like Morph from X-Men: TAS.

Now, I don't think that would be allowed. No aswell to JLU and Timmverse characters. Well, maybe not the Timmverse because it has it's own comic series.

What about the Imperfects from the Marvel Nemesis VG?

There was a graphic novel made from the game. It's alot more elaborate than the game itself.
