She's wearing a one-piece haltar top bathing suit but has a cover up tied around her hips...

The cover up is that black and white, chiffon ruffled multi-layered skirt that covers up where her bathing suit ends.

Cover up, dress, same thing. If Chloe was wearing underwear underneath it'd be called a dress. As for KK I just go by what I see in the episode. The pic you provided does show a much clearer image of what she is wearing but watching the episode it is indistinguishable and simply left up to the imagination. Eithe she looks like crap in it.

Since when does a dress cover just your hips?

Chloe's might be mistaken for a dress, since it would be similar to a haltar strap dress, but it's not since you can see her bathing suit top underneath it.

But what mystifies me is why you're arguing semantics over the difference between a dress and a cover-up when you have no idea what a cover up even is....

Kryptonsite has a poll up asking, "Would you watch an Aquaman spin-off series from Smallville?" Wonder if this is being given serious consideration since this episode did so well in the ratings. I'm not sure I'd actually watch it past the pilot if it ever came to be.

Kryptonsite has a poll up asking, "Would you watch an Aquaman spin-off series from Smallville?" Wonder if this is being given serious consideration since this episode did so well in the ratings. I'm not sure I'd actually watch it past the pilot if it ever came to be.

Personally, I'd rather see just a spin off of The Flash using Kyle Gallner but they've got a Flash movie in the works, I thought, so that may not happen.

But then again, they've got an Aquaman film in the works too.

I think the only other superhero I'd be remotely interested in, is Batman, and they have that covered with Batman Begins, but it would have been great to see a series based on that.

Whilst it would be good to see these guys, it would be hard to maintain them as a series. That's probably why movies work best.

I agree, I don't know if other superheroes are as complex enough to warrant a series..I'm probably wrong of course, feel free to tell me if I am..I think Superman and Batman are expections.

Maybe that was the whole idea, take the attention off Lana and Chloe, and have it all on Lois.

I thought it was tasteful, but the wrap cover up didn't really go with the suit. I woulda busted the costume designer for that in my review, but it didn't really read in the episode.

It looks like something they made and didn't make well, to be honest.

Its just that they seem to have done a complete 180 on Lana's clothing. She was all pretty in pink, and now all we see her in are dark colours. I'd like to see her in some brighter tones, not necessarily pink, but something that really compliments her colouring. I think that's what I wasnt liking about the bathing suit, the dark monotone colouring.

She still looks adorable, I'd just like to see her in some happy colours.

I think they made the switch in part because she hated wearing pink since it's like her least favorite color.

Actually, I think she looks beautiful in darker colors. I like that she's not wearing pink anymore. Maybe she could wear it now and then, but the amount of pink she'd wear was ridiculous.

No one, except for Mary Kay sales reps and 8 year old girls, would ever be wearing that much pink.
