Seriously, like I said, ask the mods I'm not one to defend them but to get on their case for doing their job and banning an obvious troll is ridiculous.

Now fastforward to a thread about "banned members that you kind of missed" where said member is now being mentioned.

Hmmm indeed....

The bulk of responses in here, in PM's and on the thread itself are celebrating him being banned, the majority are pleased, that's a fact.

Yeah well I do recall reaching out to you (in private mind you) for some help regarding an ongoing issue. Never mind that the Hobbit sequel was part of the initial topic in that thread I mean what do details have to do with rules right..?

I mean here you are "derailing" this very topic in an effort to discredit my sympathy for an unfortunate situation.

But why?

Never mind that you were stirring looking for a reaction from the X Men fans in a thread that had not been active for over a week when you suddenly deiced to make that post because you are upset over Fox having X Men. You were trolling, no two ways about it.

Why? because you were misrepresenting the Alexei situation and making veiled assertions that he was somehow unlucky because you too have an issue with Jen. Like I told Alexei you should be thankful it is Jen, she is way more patient with your type than myself or C. Lee. Give me an Ace of Knaves or Crook any day.

He was banned from the Bond thread. Even though he was knowledgable about the books and everyone enjoyed that, he kept going on about how the movies are awful and wrong even though he was in the Bond movie thread.

He was even worse in the Avengers threads leading up to release and was the reason I posted there less. Good riddance.

Ah, I see. Well that's just silly dismissing the movies. It's not like the books are always so great. There are some questionable things which Fleming put in which I think the movies improved upon - eg Bond gets kicked by Rosa Klebb, Goldfinger trying to actually steal the gold from Fort Knox.

And what exactly is my type sir? I mean if being typecasted as Public Troll #1 was so cut and dry then why did C.Lee remove the infraction that was given after we spoke about it? Either that issue wasn't as bad as you're making it out to be or C. Lee is a little more "patient" with my type then other mods.

Last question, what's the point of reaching out to mods in PM's if you're just going to spill it out in the open forum? Granted it's not Doctor/patient confidentiality per se but maybe it'll also explain why you're calling mods out by their first name.

For the record I think that people can actually be X-men fans and still have no desire to drink Fox's Koolaid. I've never claimed to be a saint, I've even openly apologized on a couple of occasions. So it's not about me claiming to be a victim. The point is that I'm not always right and neither are the powers that be.

But unlike Alexei I'm quite aware of what marked his/her demise, which is why for now on I'm only commenting on those whom I agree with while updating my ignore list with the rest. LOL!

And the point here is, that they were completely in the right banning that dude straight to hell. Whether you agree or not, is irrelevant he knowingly violated rules on trolling and continued on that course of action even after being warned repeatedly. If this was a first time offense then you would be correct but he was a habitual line stepper and he crossed that line one too many times.

Just because you thought he was a cool guy or disagree with how they handled his banning doesn't mean they were not correct in doing so. Hell, I've seen many people being banned that I liked and even respected and I can acknowledge they had it coming.

Honestly, not even 300 posts in and causing a ruckus, who are you really? I'll be shocked if you make it to 1,000 posts.

Oh god, Mercurius. That brings back memories of arguing for several pages. He was awful too. I don't remember if he was worse. I don't think he's banned, but he doesn't come around anymore.
