They didn't. They just thought it was too much for a comic book movie, to which he snapped and started b***hing about how comic book movies are too kiddy and should go darker, becuase Rated R comic book movies have been huge hits at the box office.

Well for my money, Alexi's last argument starts from page 25 in the Wolverine thread where he does accuse a poster (wrongly) of having a thing against lesbian scenes on film. It does read like it spins out of that argument to me, but the subject does change to just him condescending about his idea of R rated movies vs kiddie flicks when he condescends to Project862006 and then it just snowballs into him telling the mods how to do their jobs and how they're threatened by an actual adult... who teaches. lol

Yes. There have been instances where we have come to the knowledge that a banning was unwarranted and it is overturned. But this is rare....because most bannings are after many many warnings, infractions, and probations.

The cases that have been overturned have been when the banned the user is in contact with us.

Yeah, the more he banged on about Aronofsky's alleged script sexual molestation scene and how it was "art", the more I just at him. He acts like he knows what art is, but I swear he just makes things up and convinces himself it's true. Alexi wouldn't know art if it tied him down and spent all day drawing him a picture.

This one I do recall. I remember seeing an argument or two of his in the Superman threads. He'd bang on about how this or that was a 'slap in the face to two dead jewish guys' (not a direct quote, his words weren't so carefully considered). That or an argument about how God being used in a story wasn't at all hokey or weird and similarly that him offering Superman a place at his right-hand side as an archangel or something like that isn't also weird or hokey. Seemed to have a real thing about a specific age of comics and incapable of acknowledging the concept that some stories may have aged badly somewhat and that some ideas seem a bit silly now.

I can see how he may have ended up with a ban. Though I wouldn't say he was one of the worst posters I've seen here, just someone I felt I should give a wide berth.
