That might explain why my friends list is lower by one

It seems to become an obsession with some, oddly enough more often with those that get banned shortly after they sign up, so it's not like they have been around long enough to miss the place.

It's certainly strange. He only managed to make 2 posts as LOL so as you say he shouldn't be missing the place unless he's been lurking for a long time or something. Who knows really. I agree with you. I think some people are serial posters. They just obesess with a particular site and try to incite trouble or undermine the mods of that particular site multiple times to gratify some need or obsession.

I think it becomes like a game for some, maybe got too much spare time and decide this is a fun way to spend some of it as the attempts to sneak back in are not even subtle a lot of the time.
