I've already read on a couple of other sites where people who don't know much about Iron Man are ripping the suit but I'm sure by the time the movie comes out next year everyone will know that's just the 1st one he uses.

Iron-Man IS! the Red/Gold Armor.. and thats the armor that going to be plastern all over the place come spring 2008..

And they will be using 3 Armors in the movie (unless someone has corrected that statement)
The first (Picture, kickass), The Red/Gold (Classic, iconic Iron-Man armor) and War Machine (KICKASS!)

from what i hear the War Machine Armor is in the first movie.. but Rhodes wont use it untill the sequel..

Yes, I always thought the "weapons platform" referred to the ability to access various external weapons systems such as orbitting satelites and such straight from his armor.

You know, looking at this thing (as I have quite a few times today!) I get the feeling that one small thing makes it look "odd". The horizonyal weld line between the eyes and mouth almost give the helmet a "half-mask" type of look. I bet if someone photoshopped this line out, it would look WAY better. I know it sounds crazy but I bet it would.

Wow, I didn´t expect it to be this comics accurate. But let´s keep in mind it´s the suit Tony builds in prison and won´t be seen for long in the movie. It´s a nice nod to the original comics.
