Iron Man Armor revealed!

I know but this suit looks like it belongs in Iron Man 3. For the first movie I would've expected something closer to the Ultimate Iron Man design and then they would've moved closer to the Granov designs in the sequels. Don't get me wrong I love Granov's suits (his pre-extremis Iron Man suit is my favorite) I just think they're moving too fast with the designs.

I love the optimistic attitude but they can't afford to hold anything back. They need to make sure Iron Man is a massive hit to ensure that there are any sequels. If you play it wrong, you get a movie like Eragon that forgets to tell a good story because they're too busy building a franchise and setting up sequels that'll never happen.

Like with most things Ultimate, the Ultimate Iron Man armor is simply awful.

Yes, the movie is already available on DVD in other countries. And this is only one of the several armors he wears along the film.

I like it. Though I would prefer that they modify the faceplate to give it rounder edges. I've never really liked the sharp edges of the Ditiko suit, which appearantly influenced this design.

whats interesting to me is in both the rejected and promo pic/poster the colors seem muted in a way simmilar to the effect we saw on Superman.

But the latest image the aproved image seems to be going for a brighter tone, I guess they don't want to make the mistakes

I already saw this image a couple of days ago, not sure where but i saw the comparison. I remember liking the movie one better to the comic version which is strange lol.

I like it. I prefer the old school armor and concept (the high flying red and gold avenger, old shell head, etc., something about Granov's designs seem overdone at times, simpler is better), but this one is alright. I think the Sideshow bust really provides some insight on how it could look onscreen. I like the powder-coat/diecast look of the Sideshow bust.

I hope they capture the adventurous spirit of the comics and don't go overboard with the whole tech aspect of IM.

no i can complain. i as hoping for something bulkier to be honest with you.

If you want bulkier, then get the animated Iron Man DVD. The armor makes Tony about 3ft tall.
