I'm happy! In fact I haven't been close to this happy with a first look at a movie superhero suit since I first saw the Spidey pic from one of the previous posts! I think this movie's gonna be alright!

the suit looks alittle stiff to me. how is he gonna be able to move in it?
btw ive never read the comics so thats probably why im not excited

Well, it's supposed to be stiff and hard to move. It's more of a makeshift weapon than a piece of high-tech that is easy to move. The red and gold one should be the one we'll see more.

And I can't wait to see a pic of that one.

i wonder if thats in stark's storage. we start the movie with him in the contemporary armor. It either gets destroyed or corupted or stolen, and whats left. the Mach 1 iron man.

There IS a hand...the "sleeve" just comes down further than you realize. The hand is under that. Look closely.

Wow, of course he'll be in another suit. Now's the time to read up on Iron Man t:. It's a Mark I suite meaning it's his first design that will evolve into the Iron Man we know. I recommend everyone at least reading Warren Ellis' run of Iron Man v4 #1-8 (Extremis). You'll find out how crazy powerful Iron Man is these days.

Anyway, the suit rules! Definitely has that retro look. The leg is kind of weird and the little tank that I'm guessing is a flame thrower looks funny in a good way. I like how it reminds me of medieval knight armor. I wonder if we'll see his eyes when he wears it. Someone needs to Photoshop that!

I know somewhat about Iron Man... mainly from the cartoon. But, I definitely love this suit. The right guys are working on bringing this project to life and I couldn't be more excited by the way things are looking for this film. Looks like IRON MAN may actually be Spider-Man films/ Batman Begins calibur.
