i haven't heard that, but her version of Once Upon a Dream for Maleficent was awesomely eerie and moody
Oh yes, I know nothing about Del Ray and I couldn't name another song of hers, but this was a good cover.

Well they feel they have a monopoly, and right now... They sort of do. Even the FOX films are still Marvel characters, and as we see with DoFP/Apocalypse/Deadpool, they are starting to take cues from Marvel films to keep up.

Still... I think the pretentious Marvel fans will be in for a surprise when the DCEU hits in full force. Right now, the Marvel Head nerds feel that the culture at wide is validating them. What happens if BvS does A1 numbers and WW and SS do GotG numbers?

i am a Marvel fan first and foremost, but i don't wish any ill towards DC or want one to fail over the other. the more succesful each is, the better the franchises do, the better the budget, which helps them make better movies. they can pay for the effects they need, get the actors they want, etc.

my favorite batman movie is Batman Returns, and i like TDK, but i thought TDKR had too much going on. i am however, really looking forward to Suicide Squad, and am on season 2 of Arrow on Netflix.

comic movies or shows, regardless of what company, i support you lol. even you indies out there. one day we will get a good Y: The Last Man, Danger Girl, or Fables or Aspen properties. maybe even Saga, or 100 Bullets (which is DC)

And I hate those type of fans. They are the same goddamn audience for both properties. lol

Like a snake eating it self.

*drools at the thought of a Saga adaptation*

Best thing to come from that movie. ...though admittedly, that's not saying very much.

You are in luck because Y is getting an adaption and Bullets is getting one (with Bane himself Hardy attached).

"Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful? I know you will. I know you will. I know that you wiiiiiil."

Then why'd you ask? :oldrazz:

Indeed. Unfortunately I watched the recent French live-action Beauty and Beast shortly after watching Maleficent and was heavily reminded of Maleficent all throughout the 3rd act, which really dampened my overall impression of the film I think.

Boo! :o

I loved that film and I've never been all that high on Jolie, but I REALLY liked MALEFICENT, hope to see more of the director. We were more a LOONEY TUNES household but SLEEPING BEAUTY was a personal favorite of mine from the classic Disney era. I know other fans didn't like the deviation but I enjoyed the turning things on it's ears aspect.

you 'remember' your sega genesis?

****... i still have my NES and SNES

I repeat... Boo! :o

i wish they would've not made that movie so kid friendly. i would've really liked to have seen it in a darker tone all the way through

I'm sure it can't be as silly as the "mistress of all evil" hanging around for 16 years just causing little minor problems at the cottage. More like the mistress of petty annoyances. :o

That song with Leo and Carey falling in love honest to Zod makes me cry all the time! :waa:

Yeah, I remember my sega genesis. :oldrazz:
Ha, I recently found my old Sega Genesis and all my games when I moved into my new place. I'm kinda afraid to hook it up. Those cartridges don't look like they've aged well, lol.

The Sega Master System II was my first ever console and my introduction to the gaming world! :woot:

was it not good? i heard it was supposed to be really really good

i heard this song on the radio one day driving to work and now it's on my regular playlist

video is corny as heck with a super sugared up scene a la The Craft, but for some reason i really like the energy and cadence of the song.

positive vibes and all that yall

Before there was Marvel vs DC, there was Nintendo vs Sega. Then there was Neo-Geo, which no one actually bought on account of it being so expensive.
