So...by the end of this trilogy, they'll finally show the humans winning the war, right?

I think they will. If they're not gonna send John Connor back through time, I'm sure the rest of the franchise will deal with John and the Resistance ending the war. Considering we'll see T1 (or potentially T2)-era Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese, we're most likely gonna see the tail end of the war in 2029.

Think of it as a reboot in the way of the new Trek. That's my theory.

Yeah, I think it's a mistake if they don't wrap it up with a human victory.

The shots of John Connor in 2029 in T2&T3 gives me chills.

I cant see this being anything but a complete reboot set in current times retelling the story of T1 but also featuring john connor in the future. The possibility of Arnie returning does confuse me though but i honestly can not see them using Arnie as a T-800, its just plain ridiculous.

I could actually believe Furlong would grow into Bale, though. Stahl is who threw me off.

I could buy Furlong ---> Stahl, and I could buy Furlong ---> Bale, but yeah, I can't buy Stahl being the midpoint between Furlong and Bale.

Prepare to be freezing for the whole movie, because Jason Clarke will more than likely be playing 2029 John Connor.

I don't know what the **** is going on with this movie.

They went with Alan Taylor's casting choice? This production is already smoother than Thor 2. :o

She wasn't much of a sweetheart when he was ordering her army to massacre a bunch of slavers and having her dragon burn one alive, or letting her brother die a horrific death because he was an ******* to her.

Dude, I was playing around. I just see those complaints thrown out there on the Internet.

Dude, spoilerzzzz!!!

I think of them more as restarts... they're restarting the franchise but not making it entirely new either.

The trek analogy can only work Is this Is set In past of 1984 or earlier. If arnold's terminator arrives to protect Sarah In present day It has to be seen as outright reboot.Add to fact If they change Kyle reece from future character to present day Love intrest for Sarah.

If arnold Is protecting sarah then I don't see why reece would also be sent back.

There are plenty of holes to Star Trek.In theory there everything In trek universe should be same before Nero In Trek 2009 arrived In 23rd century and attacked Kelvin. There are things for longtime trek fans pretrek 2009 to doudt that however If fans want to view new trek films as part of exsisting films they can. It's going to much harder with this film to be considered part of terminator series that came before.

I have no idea what's going on with this film, but if it has some decent scenes in the future - the real future, not that bs Salvation future - I'll be there. Revisiting Sarah just seems like a step back to me though.

Oh, and I really liked Stahl tbh. He looks a lot like his "parents", and I would have liked to see him develop in future films.

Yeah, I've seen it too. When people think Sarah Connor they remember T2 but they don't remember T1 and how she started off as the gentle girl next door type who was thrust into the wacky situation and who became the bada$$ warrior that's become Iconic in T2. She actually reminds me alot of the younger Linda Hamilton.

Stahl looked a lot like Kyle Reese, probably my favorite iteration of the character.

Cumberbatch would be a great bad Terminator but I still want Diesel or Rock as one or to be the new T-800 too,They may be"boring/cliche and predictable"for some and sucks for you then but I admit I'm thinking what I'd personally enjoy than others will
