It was bad..in a disastrous way. In in alternative timeline, if that scene was kept, people will moan and groan.

Because it was deleted, it's more of a novelty.

They went with Alan Taylor's casting choice? This production is already smoother than Thor 2.

I thought thor 2 was an awful movie, I'm hoping that the problems are due to marvel's interference and not due to Alan Taylor, as I like the terminator franchise.

I hope they are not remaking Terminator 1. That movie is perfect, it's hard to imagine it being done better.

I never understood why 3 and the TV show portrayed an older John Connor the way they did. In both stories, he is depicted as a helpless ninny who needs constant protection and guidance. In Terminator 2 he was ordering around a terminator, and breaking his mother out of prison. And he was ten.

John Connor should be taking out terminators singlehandedly by the time he's old enough to shave.

John Connor should be taking out terminators singlehandedly by the time he's old enough to shave.

They had a character arc for John Connor in the tv show in which he developed tremendously. He was also showing intelligence at various points, for example by figuring out who was who and what their plan was at various points, by having a good understanding of computer software.

FYI it doesn't make sense for a 15 year old (as he was on the TV show, unless it was 16) to be on top of things 100% of the time. He needs to have failures, otherwise he will never be able to learn what he needs to learn to become a great leader.

I have always thought this. John Connor was such a punk kid in T2, he defiantly should grow up to become a bad-ass who knows what he is doing.

...but also when you think about it, how have authorities not pinned crimes in 1984 and 1992 to William Candy? He looks like the same guy.
