Many people mistake a poem as the source of inspiration for the Beatles' 1967
classic "I Am The Walrus". In reality John Lennon looked into the future and saw the dawning of this super villain one who would stand the test of time.

For a few magical issues, he cut a swath of terror so deep, it consumed all of New York.

It is a little known fact, but Maximum Carnage was initial going to be called Maximum Walrus.

Discuss this mighty specimen.

Height: 6'
Weight: 360 lbs
Abilities: Proportionate strength of a Walrus (think about it.)

I've never actually read a comic with him in it. But he seems like a poor mans Rhino, a REALLY REALLY poor man's Rhino

Rhino...pshhh.

This villain has the proportionate strength of a WALRUS.

Easily Spidey's most deadly enemy ever.

May-be you should consider starting ONE (as opposed to many) "Lame villain" thread... since that is obviously the bent of your sarcasm... instead of cluttering the boards with one bit of nonsense after another.

Honestly, Walrus should be the villain for SM-4. I mean, he could mess Spidey up with those tusks! And imagne underwater battles, finally a villain who will make Spidey run for his money.

And his bellow. God, what a sound!

In YOUR own words...

"Oooo... lookout, it's the self-appointed thread police. "

If anyone is willing to scan The Walrus from the Back in Black handbook, I'd appreciate it very very much.

Didn't he pop up with the second or third Kangroo back during post-Ben Reilly days in Spec? I have a vague memory of his appearence....or maybe I'm mistakening him for someone else.

You're thinking of the Legion of Losers. That was made up of Grizzly, Kangaroo 2, Spot and Gibbon.

Yes indeed, every battle Spidey has with the Walrus taxes him to the extreme.
