Why didn't Oliver just suit up in Palmers suit during the meta human episode?

I hope they pull a Superman 2 and have Oliver out of this for a few episodes before realizing he can't leave this life behind, and that being the reason Felicity leaves him by season's end

This whole season has been messed up.

I'm looking forward to binge watching it to see if it gets better watching it in closer proximity.

But,yeah. Problems.

Felicity in the Atom suit saving Oliver was one of the most awful and cringe worthy things ever. I think I gave myself a concussion I face palmed so hard.
I'd liken it to the end of Iron Man 3, only worse.

I went with 4/10, serious score. For a finale it was way under par, but then it has been for the whole season.

I liked the start and some of the fights/set pieces were good but the Olicity scenes were unbearable. Her in Ray's suit was just plain awful, and the way she treat Ray was pretty horrid. The Felicity character has been lost.

I actually thought she may get a bullet in the head courtesy of Dahrk at the end, ala James Bond's wife, and that would have upped my score by +2.

Not too sure if I'll continue with this show, will have to see how they set up for next season. But yeah, terrible end to a terrible season. Oliver beating R'as in combat was unbelievable. Malcolm (not keen on him being r'as, two sepearate characters), Ray and Thea were good though, thats the best I can say.

Did Marc really think this was going to entertain us?

Like seriously. What a lackluster season finale and season overall.

I was hoping Katana would be involved in saving people's lives in Starling City when the people were infected.

It didn't pack quite a punch that last season finale did. When it ended with Oliver and Felicity riding into the sunset together, it sums up the problem with this season.

The thing with Ray Palmer was surprising as well as Malcolm Merlyn being the new Ra's Al Ghul. Maybe Malcolm can use the Lazarus Pit to revive Tommy?!

Thea did well as Speedy. I can see Dinah Laurel, Thea, and Diggle defending Starling City when the 4th season arrives while Oliver and Felicity are away. This is probably what the producers meant by fractured.

meh

5/10

at least they explained why merlyn was kept around although Oliver allowing him to go lead the LoA is mind bogglingly illogical. Which him leading the LoA was dumb too, shouldn't they just follow Nyssa? And Nyssa kneeling, really? She was gonna kill her dad for picking Oliver, yet merlyn killed Sara and she kneels?

And that last scene, meh knew about it for a month and I still hate it.

When Flashback Ollie got on the ship in Hong Kong it said 'Coast City USA'. We're getting a lot of Coast City references in the CW verse now. Could we see Green Lantern soon?

That whole section with Damien Dahrk felt so pointless. Just feels like setting up the next Big Bad. It could've been cut for something more.

I was so disappointed she did nothing in the season finale. I worry she will be benched just like Deadshot was for the movie.

Maybe Malcolm can use the Lazarus Pit to revive Tommy?!

Considering he was against Thea using it, I doubt he'll take the risk with Tommy. Plus, I'm sure his body would be very decomposed by now.

It's been going on for some time too. I think they want GL for a spin off,but we'll see...

Shame, their whole training storyline happened behind the scenes.

And I know they wanted an original TA meeting, but Laurel has been very vocal this season, I feel like she would've had some words for Oliver instead of just walking away.

Yeah, to me it doesn't make much sense that she unveiled her costume and had the fight and killed her husband, the week before the series finale.

Like, that fight happening on a rooftop in Starling or as part of Ollie fighting R'as could have been a serious spectacle, and they kinda wasted it last week to give her nothing to do in the finale. Meanwhile they find 5-10 minutes for a guy who isn't Damien Darhk.

Just another really odd decision.

This was an okay episode. I still don't like the Ollicity stuff though. And the flashbacks, R'as fight, and Oliver's master plan were disappointing.
6.5 or 7/10 for the good moments.

That is not a good rating from me for a season finale. SHIELD's finale was 10/10. And the penultimate episode of Flash was pretty good as well.

I feel like if the writers put as much effort into the overall episode and storylines as they did Olicity, it would've been better.

I'd liken it to the end of Iron Man 3, only worse.

Actually the whole end of the episode was like the end of Iron Man 3. They lead you to believe it's basically the end of the story, but we all know there's another movie/season already in the works.

Why wouldn't Oliver set up Nyssa to take over? Why wouldn't she already take over not only being the daughter of the demon but wife of the heir?

Disapointed with this thing. Yesterday episode of Flash was just so good, and then Arrow does this...

Wait, what?

Literally no one wanted this! I have been a proponent of Oliver/Felicity since S1, and would've been happy with them being together in a relationship. Not leaving the team!

But seriously, someone needs to explain right now how this works with the Flash. The writers or whoever need to tell us this, because right now I don't understand how it could work without some ugly continuity glitch.

Yeah, I can understand the idea behind it, have a big "holy crap is he actually gonna hang up his bow?" moment, but season 4 is confirmed, so we know he'll be back in green shooting stuff with his bow. They probably should've just had him decide to take a vacation away from it all for awhile rather than him straight up saying he's done, since we know that isn't gonna work out, the ending came off kinda hollow because of that. This whole finale was just sort of there for me, didn't love it, didn't dislike it, it just sort of happened.

I'm guessing Malcolm's cooperation in helping Ollie from within, hinged on the condition he be made the next Ra's.

well the good about the finale... THEA LOOKED HOT IN THAT OUTFIT!!
and the rest........ WELL THEA LOOKED HOT IN THAT OUTFIT!!

Man! are you kidding!!! i feel like i got %^&*ING PUNK'D!!:down

I was hoping for her and Merlyn to have a fight, I hope she gets to deliver some overdue payback on him next season.
