3x23 'MY NAME IS OLIVER QUEEN' SYNOPSIS

THE HEART-STOPPING SEASON FINALE
— Everyone’s lives are in danger as Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) puts forth his final plan. Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) must decide if he’s strong enough to take on this new role and what it will mean for everyone on Team Arrow, and his soul.

John Behring directed the episode
Story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and
teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Jake Coburn
(#323).
Original airdate 5/13/2015.

It looks like Oliver and Diggle may end their friendship.

I wonder if someone from Team Arrow dies in the season finale.

I wonder if Thea is wearing Roy's actual costume, or if she quickly got it tailored to fit herself.

You can see a slight boob imprint, so I am guessing she got it tailored to fit her.

I want to see the scene where she takes the costume of a known vigilante to a tailor and asks them to make it fit for her. :funny:

I hope Katana is in the season finale and helps Team Arrow deal with the virus in Starling City. Looking forward to seeing Thea in action as Speedy.

So like others have speculated, I'm assuming that Oliver had managed to switch the real vile that Ra's had in his possession with some sort of sedative and probably contacted Barry in secret so that he can rescue Team Arrow.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ra's knows little about Barry/The Flash given that Barry doesn't spend nearly as much time with Oliver as the rest of Team Arrow has.

And I think that the whole "Game Changer" that the Producers have kept talking about in regards to the dynamics of Team Arrow is that Oliver chooses to remain the leader of the League of Assassins, after dethroning Ra's.

I mean, I doubt anyone will be willing to trust Oliver again, particularly Diggs and Laurel, after this whole incident so they (along with Felicity and Thea) may form their own group with Oliver chooses to remain at Nanda Parbat to lead the LOA.

I kind of doubt the League will want anything to do with him after this episode, if Ra's does get truly defeated I'd expect Nyssa to be the one to take Ra's place.

I don't think Flash will do more than freeing Diggle and the others.

I agree we may see a new Team Arrow with Dinah Laurel, Thea, Katana, Diggle, and Felicity for the fourth season. Or even be named as the Birds of Prey. I find the group more interesting without Oliver than with Oliver.

With the speculation of Olicity driving off into the sunset together, dont think he will stick with LOA. Plus then they have to find a way to bring him back to Starling full time.

What a nice honeymoon, trying to stop the destruction of Starling.

It kind of seems like a waste though of not having Oliver go through at least half a Season's worth of being in total control over the League of Assassins.

But yeah, I had almost forgotten about that Olicity spoiler.

Maybe Oliver and Felicity choose to leave Team Arrow to start their own thing, with Diggs, Laurel, and Thea choosing to form their own unit.

Are you saying that we may see a divide among Team Arrow by season's end and into the 4th season?

I wish to have Oliver take both Thea and Katana into his group. Oliver and Katana would remind me of Green Hornet and Kato.

Man if it's true that Oliver gives up being the head of the League because he wants to be with Felicity, then that's yet another potential story line that's ruined because of Olicity.

After seeing how this thing with Oliver and Felicity panned out during this season, I'm more interested in Oliver leading the League of Assassins than Oliver/ Felicity. One season of them is enough.

This is starting to seem like that one time where Angel and his team split up, and Angel did his own thing and his team formed a new team Angel. Although I don't see Oliver being on his own at seasons end. Aside from Diggle, Felicity, and Laurel, I don't see Thea or Katana abandoning him at all. Dig Fel Lau were all personally (falsely) betrayed by Oliver, so I can understand to a degree their distrust, but I feel it was justified in his bigger plan to take down the LOA from the inside.

I strongly believe one of his contingencies took into account Malcolm's betrayal. Keep in mind, if this is all chronologically sound, Oliver appears in the Flash episode a day before the Arrow finale, so the events of the Flash episode could be running concurrent to this weeks, in which Flash reached out to Oliver for help (hence Oliver's line "hope I'm not too late", implying that his arrival was planned), and in return, I suspect the Flash will end with Oliver asking the Flash for a favor to rescue his team when his plan culminates into Malcolm's betrayal and Ra's leaving them for dead with the virus (although I suspect the Flash will just cameo for the rescue, as he has his own issues with Wells to deal with in his own city).

With that said, objectively speaking, imo, DigFelLau have no reason really to be angry at Oliver, since his plan does involve saving the entire city, and his whole charade seems to be under control (meaning Lyla and daughter were never really in danger) and the reason he chose Malcolm as his accomplice in this plan was 1. Malcolm is probably the only one capable of secretly communicating with him to discuss plan ideas and steps, and 2. he was banking on Malcolm's betrayal. And he needed his real team to show real emotions to his betrayal to fully sell Ra's, since this IS Ra's. Katana has no reason to be angry at Oliver, and Thea will always stick with her brother no matter what.

Of course, I do admit that I MAY be giving Oliver too much credit. But if he does pull this off, he is just one step closer to becoming the mastermind strategist that is the Batman Green Arrow.

The difference between Batman and Stephen's version of Arrow, as far as I understand, is that there are some lines that Batman won't cross to achieve his goals.

And he would never risk the life of a innocent person in order to achieve them.

Even if Oliver had the best of intentions in mind, he crossed a certain line when he decided to kidnap Lyla and leave Baby Sara alone like that.

Heck, Oliver even killed a guy without having any qualms about it. And this was also when he was under the assumption that it was Diggs that he had just killed.

I don't see them have oliver stay out of starling city and others without him.this show is still called arrow.

what I could see is oliver, felicity, and thea as speedy as team arrow and diggle and laurel on their own.

It's going to be intresting to see how the others get out of there.who knows maybe malcolm's bethreyal was part of the plan.

I just glanced over those pics. I only remember just seeing a car. Was it for sure Oliver and Felicity in it?

That's what I was thinking.
