Man if they were going to have Oliver easily pass up the chance on leading the LOA in a new and better direction, they should have made him join the league MUCH earlier in the season.

Honeymoon in Starling City? What next first anniversary date on Apokolips?

Doubt it as we've seen what the Lazarus Pit did to Thea and we saw little to no consequences of it. I can see Rip Hunter pulling Sara out of an alternate timeline where she's alive and still the Canary.
My whole problem with Sara returning in any form is that her death was to push Laurel to be the Black Canary, and most fans hated it because they preferred Sara over Laurel. But to bring Sara back in any form, regardless of whether or not Laurel finds out, it really kills off any momentum Laurel has.

It's kinda like in Smallville when Lana left and Clark started to fall for Lois, but the second Lana returned, Clark stopped focusing on Lois, and all of the momentum that they built that season both in terms of stories and the romance, was killed to the point where it couldn't recover.

I think if Laurel keeps improving in the fighting skills like she has on the last two episodes she'll be fine, even with Sara's Canary. They just need to have both fighting with different styles, something that it's already happening with Sara using the bo staff and Laurel the police baton and Canary Cry...

Nyssa would never work with Malcolm. He killed Sara, and her desire to her obey her father's commands (including sparing Malcolm) is frayed to breaking. Honestly, it would be out of character for her to do anything but kill him (though the writers will probably ignore that since it isn't convenient right now.)

I agree. Though this statement should have been true for everybody on Team Arrow during the season.

The sad thing is that John Barrowman is such a good actor and Malcom was a character with so much potential and they've totally wasted him by having him pretty much not do anything during the entire season.

The even funnier bit, if they insisted on a plot where Team Arrow is grudgingly forced to work with they could have made it work. If they did not had him kill Sara. See, from an objective standpoint him having caused the death of over 500 people is of course worse, but from the teams perspectives those people were still just strangers. A statistic. If he did not kill Sara they could have come up with a plot were they genuinely needed his help. Let's say the league came after Thea or Oliver or Nyssa without provocation and it would have been Malcolm and NOT Oliver who is the only one who can defeat Ra's (As it should be. "Only the student...") I think given these setup one could have accepted them working with him.

But after Sara? Pretty much the entire cast had some pretty strong relationship to her one way or the other. There is no way nobody would have tried to kill Malcolm immediately as soon as he'd shown his face...

Not necessarily as there can be room for 2 Canaries and make them different from each other. Also we may not know if Caity Lotz is playing Sara as she could play a different character altogether.

This is possible. Plenty of actors have done appearances on shows in a limited manner, either one shot or maybe only a few episodes, only to come back later as a regular or semi-regular. I'm reminded in particular of the old show Bewitched, where Paul Lynde made a supposedly one time appearance as a neurotic driving instructor, he did such a good job, they bought him back making semi-regular appearances as Samantha's Uncle Arthur. There are plenty more examples of this in other TV shows.

Guys, who are we kidding here? They are not going to bring back Caity Lotz to play a different character. The ONLY way that would maybe, maybe MAYBE happen is if she was totally unrecognizable or Caity's face was obscured by CGI or something but that's not going to happen. Sara's coming back....somehow. lol

Well, with this, the problem wasn't Lana returning but Clark fully turning back to her (I haven't watched it in a long time, so I can't remember what happened). If instead it had put Clark's feelings in perspective, it could have been used as a revelation of sorts to push the Clark/Lois storyline forwards. Similarly, by halfway through next season (it's a midseason show, right?) Laurel could be in a place that means that seeing Sara again could affirm her choice rather than contradict it. Sara's death was why she started vigilante-ing, but it wasn't a good reason, and it isn't the reason she kept doing it. Laurel's pretty much figured out why she needs to be the Black Canary now, so Sara's return shouldn't hurt that.

Basically, it comes down to writing, so with this show... flip a coin, it could be great, it could be awful.

She's just gonna be in the flashbacks. I can bet on it.

Any speculations on what the opening narration might be? Perhaps: "My name is Al Sah-Him. After two weeks of joining the League of Assassins, deceiving my friends, and marrying a lesbian, I must save my city. I must become someone else. I must become something else." :o

:lmao:

There's a very awkward pause between "My name..." and "...is Oliver Queen!" in the extended promo that I really hope isn't in the actual episode.

Ollie and her must be on their honeymoon on the island of Lesbos. That could be why Nyssa is happy. Lots of other women to distract her from her unhappy marriage. :o

Of course, being on that island, Ollie would feel compelled to come up with a new opening narration.

My name is Oliver Queen. After 1 week on a lesbian island, I have come home with only one goal: to leave my city and move there full time. But to do that, I can't be the man I once was. I must become someone else. I must become something else. :p

So...they go to Themyscira? :o
well I've never seen any of the amazon women head that way , with the exception of that blond villain one in the JL -JLU animated series that hinted at it.

but I guess Themyscira would be that Island contrary to Amazon Lore. (which still take men to make more of their kind as long as they find them acceptable as a warrior or a strong male) besides I'm sure people will find it hard to take hearing "welcome to the Island of Lesbos" seriously or with out falling to the floor saying "did you actually say that?"

well alot of males will know though they're out of luck if there ever was an Island like that, they'd have a good chuckle and be on their way.

Well the smart ones that know they have no chance there any way.

Hey, Frank Miller said it in ASBAR and, as we all know, Frank Miller is always right. :o

But if comics want me to buy that every single person on that island is straight, I'm not believing it. At all. Even a little. :oldrazz: Earth One's going to have Wonder Woman be bi or a lesbian so that's something :oldrazz:

I thought Hippolyta and Phillipus were virtually a canon couple? Before the most recent reboot of course.

And I had the impression that ... her name escapes me, the faux Artemis in the solo New52 Wonder Woman title, was in love with Diana and was upset that Diana had rejected her advances.

I also vaguely recall a single instance in a pre reboot Wonder Woman comic where someone asks if Wonder Woman is romantically involved and she responded by saying that she didn't currently have a boyfriend OR a girlfriend. Or something like that.

truth be told I can accept & see them being a mix of the tree sexually active speaking. it make the most sense match our world . which makes the most sense besides the Amazon rule to make more of them selves, after they take the male for that , they're pretty much done with the males. lol. All media I've seen they showed "I've had my female child, we're done now." from one of the tv remakes of the lost world to most other stuff.

Also adding to the fact they weren't allowed to leave the island for a bit in DC books due to a decree from zeus ( might not matter cause it might happen with out him doing so ) then some of them would have to be with someone. Beside that one amazon villain shown in the JL-JLU series would be weird if she was the only one like that ever to act that way. that I don't buy ether, there'd have to be more like her who prefer women .

So can see wonder woman being bi or a lesbian in some alternate earths . but a Island just being just one way when talking about this, meh.
