Heh, even Batman on JLU had an issue with Superman and the rest of the League sending Doomsday into the Phantom Zone.

Which is weird in itself since criminals far less worse than Doomsday were sent to the PZ on Krypton.

New clip today

Oliver looks like he has his hands full with the BT. If not for the interruption he might have gotten gutted there.(see the bow on the ground) I wonder how he is going to handle both BT and CW at the same time?

Michael Jai White is not only a good actor, but also a trained martial artist. He should be able to pull off some really impressive fight scenes. They showrunners would be foolish not to take advantage of this fact.

If I remember correctly, Batman's problem in that case was not Doomsday being sent to the PZ. His issue was the JL deciding ON THEIR OWN to send Doomsday to the PZ, without any kind of judicial process. I think that his exact quote was "playing judge, jury, and executioner, just like the Justice Lords." If an actual court had made that same ruling, Batman would have been fine with it.

I never got why that was such a big deal. It's not like Doomsday was an ordinary American citizen.

It's more the precedent that it set. The Justice Lords episodes proved where that kind of unilateral action can lead, and it wasn't pretty.

I think it was more than justified. Killing President Luthor and essentially taking the law into their own hands isn't exactly the same as sending a walking killing machine to a place where it can't hurt anyone anymore.

Indeed; plus it's not like a person could make much of an defense for Doomsday in why he shouldn't be sent there.

And Cadmus could have easily gotten involved and mess up the court system where they could have somehow find a way to get Doomsday back into their custody.

Exactly. Batman getting upset with the League makes no sense.

Now I'm all up for Oliver going with a "No Kill" rule as well when it pertains to situations that he's in control of, along with how he goes about fighting off foes, but if he's in a situation where letting a person die will save millions of people, then I wouldn't exactly cry foul about it.

I mean it's one thing to not kill off your foes in cold blood, but another thing to constantly save the life of a criminal or criminals where it's a guaranteed thing that they'll come back and hurt even more innocent people, thus their blood being on the "hero's" hands as well, ala Batman and Joker.

Wow Amell's really grown as an actor. That scene between him and Roy was great.

I saw Diggle checking out Felicity's ass in the background :funny:

So the next time Laurel is in trouble. Stay away Oliver I say

That Laurel/Arrow scene was not well written. Is that the best reason the writers could come up with?

I'm ready for Laurel to die & I hope those Sarah rumors are true & she takes Laurel's place

This is my first time watching this show. I'm not entirely sure on the names yet of who is who from the comics, but so far, so good.

I'll add though...that from what I hear, this Green Arrow (and Flash from this tv series) will NOT be the same characters/actors that will eventually appear in the movies. This is a STUPID decision, if it is the case. DC has always valued logos over characters, and it has helped keep them at number 2 for decades.

No one has ever said anything about this besides fan speculation, no reason to come in here and try to thrash DC

Why don't the police send their task force to escort the FEMA trucks? Morons.

As I said, it is only what I have heard...

And give me a break...DC has a long history of doing exactly this. It is totally in their nature to break from a successful tv show or movie just because they think that the logo is all people care about.

It's like they're actively trying to make Laurel unlikable.
