I think some parts of the script sound really cool...but alice, possibly the worst character in movies ever, and her telekenisis ruins everything. She was ok in the first, but the more powerful she gets, the more she ruins the movies and is a large part of what sucked about apocalypse.

But still, I gleaned some enjoyment from that, so I probably will from this. at least it wont suck like house of the dead or rotld4.

Does anyone know if Wesker will be in the movie? Another question I have is what monsters will be in this movie besides the zombies? And, what other RE characters will be in this movie besides Claire?

I agree that telepathy and crap is totally unwanted in Resident Evil. It's like if you were playing superman in the first Resident evil...it's pointless. (from what I have heard, she does burst a few zombie heads with telekinesis, which made my heart hurt ).


I also hope wesker doesn't show up. dont get me wrong, the movies are ok trashy fun, but I don't want wesker to be tainted. He made nemesis a huge wimp, and I don't want to see that happen to wesker, one of the most bad assed characters around.that said, I will probably get some enjoyment out of it, I just remember that it's NOT really resident evil and that I will always have the games. It does sound from the script reviews that it will have some cool moments at the very least.

The movies are cool to me. Having Chris and Wesker in a RE movie would be great. I'd like to see a Wesker vs Alice fight. That would be cool.

I hope they don't kill off none of the survivors from the second movie. Angie is okay, but no one else.

And so far there aren't a lot of fan favorites. Only Carlos, Jill and Claire.

I agree...I enjoy them, only because I don't REALLY consider the movies resident evil any more. They can do whatever they want as long as they leave Wesker alone imo.

If Wesker vs Alice happened, I WOULD have to kill someone...having wesker loose to alice would be worse than the stupidity that was her beating nemesis in hand to hand. god i hated that.

I must say I do enjoy them, but more as guilty pleasures...I would much prefer the series be restarted as PURE horror movies, not the action sillyness. Or at least not with superwoman.

If they kill Carlos, they will single handedly kill the only character i like in the movies. They even turned Jill into a bit of a cold hearted *****, where she at least cares about people and has emotions in the game.

They will FINALLY have a tyrant in this one though which is sweet.

Would they honestly kill off characters that they don't know what happens to them? The movie people don't know if Carlos will be in a future game. The same with Jill and Claire. I don't think that they'd kill off characters that, well, could be in future games.

What does it matter if they kill off a game character in the Movie? It's not like it's having any effect on the game industry. It's not like Capcom thinks "Hey, did you know that Jill got killed in the Movies? What are we going to do? Now we can't use her anymore."

And the Movies already strayed so far from the games, that the deaths of some main characters wouldn't come as a surprise.

That's what I'm thinking too. I'm sure Jill is more known and beloved among the fan base than Carlos, and killing off Claire wouldn't make a lot of sense because she is searching for Chris and there's supposed to be same kind of revelation at the end. And if you'd kill Carlos this would turn into Charlie's Angels.

I don't have anything against women kicking ass, but I want some man power in these movies. I think one Kung Fu Zombie ass kicking chick was enough, we don't need three of them.

So far, this movie sounds like it's going to rock.

By rock, I mean follow suit of the first two and suck enormously.

I know what you mean, but if you just accept them as totally seperate from the games you can have some fun with them....

I will always have the games to remind me what the series REALLY should be, so I can have fun with the movies because the trick is not to take them too seriously.
