Resident Evil 4 in Larter's Future?

Ali Larter ("Heroes"), who plays Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Extinction, told ShockTillYouDrop.com today at the film's premiere in Las Vegas that she has "heard whispers" of a possible fourth installment that would focus on her character now that the Alice arc is complete.

I'm not for or against this sequel, I think 3 was solid for what it was, I would be cool if it is the last one, or if it isn't ether way

but lemme ask you this

what are you hoping for?

it isn't like there is an interesting story in the games...I would say the movies made not interesting storys passably interesting, my biggest problem with the series is the horror isn't scary enough, nor the action sweet enough I wish they would just settle on one to make awesome and do that

I was hoping the rumor about that dude Jensen dude from Supernatural playing Leon was true. Hell but if Claire is going to be the main character I guess that means we may get Chris instead.

I know!! I was so disappointed when I heard she wasn't going to be in Extinction. Judging by the the trailer Claire is nothing like her game counterpart

Me neither. Maybe its because i never played the video games, so i never had any high expections for it.

anyways, i enjoyed the first two movies, too. Can't wait to watch the third one.

That is why they should have just made these movies something different. They could have had decent movies that didn't tarnish the game, I mean they barely have anything in common. Just change the names of Umbrella and some of the characters and it would have just been a slight rip off, but since it's a zombie movie it wouldn't matter since they all rip off each other. It's part of the genre.

And Ali Larter as Claire is terrible casting. Which makes a spin off with her not all that interesting.

what are you hoping for?

In two words, Resident Evil.
Because the movies aren´t it, they might have the same name, the characters have the same name, but they sure aren´t it, not even close, not even in the same country close.
Have you ever played the games?
If not, do yourself a favor and do it, you will thank me forever.
If you did, how can you make that question in the first place?
Don´t tell me you liked the piece of crap that calls itself Doom...?

First of all, the games are about a biological warefare, because that´s what the T-Virus is, a biological agent created by Umbrella to be used in a war setting.
But things got out of hand, and later they used Raccon City as the ultimate test zone.
So, that alone shows that there is a hell of a lot more than just zombies and other monster running around.
Second, the movie needed a proper director, one that would make the audience feel the same as we did when playing the game, a fearful and claustrophobic enviornment, where pure terror is the only sensation.
Because that´s the rule #1 rule when making a video game adaptation, to make the audience feell the same as we did playing the game, no matter what game that is.
