Ashton Kutcher replacing Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men

This week's episode was the best of the new bunch, but it's still not the same. I'm curious to see how things go now that they're finally getting back to the status quo.

I'm beginning to think a spinoff show featuring Alan, Judith, Jake and Herb might have been the better route to go.

I'm sick of Judith. She's an annoying little *****.

It hasn't improved a lot. Walden is just getting annoying, and I'm starting to think this show won't last another season either.

Even the worst episodes with Charlie Sheen, there was a palpable chemistry with Charlie and Jon bouncing quips and jokes at each other. Kutcher isn't growing into the show like the other actors have.

On the other hand, it's nice seeing Jane Lynch again. Joe Manginello's character was pretty nondescript.

i haven't seen tonights yet. but last week's i thought was pretty hilarious

I haven't watched tonight's episode yet either, but I thought last week's was an improvement. Still not that great, though. Alan has become the main character and it just doesn't work for me. I liked him better playing off of Charlie (and Charlie off him).

I just wish the writers would make Ashton Kutcher more funny and have him going out on the town more.Maybe Demi Moore can be in an episode and Ashton's character can hook up with her.

The show isn't the same without Charlier, but Ashton is tolerable. I still find it a bit funny, especially some bits concerning Jake.

Wish Ashton could do a bit better with his character. I can see when people call him one dimensional because right now, all I see on Two And A Half Men is the Michael Kelso character from the 70's show.

thought last night's episode was pretty funny in moments. The show seems to be picking up some

I totally agree. Charlie made this show. Ahh alas at least we'll get to see him in his new show Anger Managment. I still like this show but it's just like when Shannen Doherty left 90210 and Then Charmed and then 90120 again. It's just not the same.

It's starting to pick up some, but I just don't think it will be the same.

of course it wont be the same... it's stupid to expect it to. Walden is a completely different character as he really should be.

The penis in the carpool lane joke was funny and it kills with females who've need seen the show.

I could have sworn Taylor Cole was a guest star on the show before. It was good to see her in last night's episode. Alan has gone off the deep end with thinking he's Charlie. I never expected them to talk about Charlie this much. He's been mentioned in every episode since the premiere. I always thought Lore wanted to mention him once and that was it. He was the main star so I guess it will take a whole season before people stop talking about him.

The episode where Walden
sleeps with Evelyn
did make me laugh. But it still hasn't quite found its groove yet.

Latest episode was really good but as pointed out before they would have been better off just continuing with the old cast and not even bother replacing Sheen. Just give Bertha, Judith, Evelyn and the rest more screen time.

I gotta say, this weeks was the first half decent episode of the new shows...

until now they didn't really seem to know what to do with new character, but I think he's final starting to fit in

I just hope they keep up at this level(as this episode kinda set the bar), instead of going back to what they been doing

No kidding, I get that. They're obviously different characters and things will be different.

I simply meant it doesn't feel the same watching the show. Some of the dynamic was lost and the show just doesn't entertain me as much anymore.

It has been getting better in recent weeks, though.

Isn't the show still pulling strong ratings for network TV/CBS?

that's a normal feeling when things change though. People in general tend to dislike change. It might not entertain you as much just because it's so different. But regardless of the show's success... it's probably not going to last much longer. Most sitcoms don't go beyond season 10... so I guess only time will tell.

I find it funny how the season premiere garnered 28m viewers and then after 5 episodes it dropped down to around 14m viewers. Ashton Coochead is playing exactly the way he did as Kelso. The only difference now is you see him a lot more shirtless/nude and with that moppy-ass hair/facial fuzz (you'd think for a "billionaire" that he'd take better care of his appearance). I haven't watched the last couple of eps cause I just never had much interest in the show originally and don't find it's improved/any better (luckily Berta still has her funny lines though, that I've noticed). Hopefully Ashton doesn't quickly start earing atleast $1m per episode though, because he doesn't deserve it (and neither did Sheen deserve the $1.6m per ep).
