Ask Chris Evans...

He doesn't that's part of the allure

He doesn't that's part of the allure

LOL. Though I'd like to believe it, what I would really like to know is how he knows Chris Evans is gonna read this stuff. I'd like some explaination. Not just 'I know'. That kind of answer leaves much to be desired.

If he doesn't have a tangible reason or explaination, then I think we have reasonable grounds to doubt his claim. And, so far, I'm not convinced.

He apparently found Evans myspace. He thinks just about every myspace he finds is the real deal. Of course it isn't so.

I have a Brad Pitt myspace, I'm not Brad Pitt:o

But if you want I could answer some questions.

This is based on someone's My Space? Notice I say someone, because theres a 99.9% chance that it's not Chris Evans on there. How many My Space pages come up with his name? haha.

Yeah and Leterrier isn't real, Favreau isn't real, Casper isn't real, Tim Story's isn't real, etc...So since everyone on myspace is fake then go to another thread. Maybe there's some action in the Wonder Woman thread for those with "No Value" in their moniker.

The only celebs that are most likely real are the ones who have their myspaces listed at their official website, and even those are probably run by their management.

I'm pretty sure I read an interview where Chris said he didn't have a My Space page too.

Where are the other actor's threads, I'm sure they have several MySpace's as well. In fact I believe Tim has Jessica's myspace on his myspace. Her's has to be real. She has to come here and post. I'm sure if AD asked, she would. :cwink: j/k AD, I'm sure Chris will post any day now.

I don't know if he will or he won't but his site looks damn real. It has some pretty personal photo's on there that aren't online except there. He hasn't responded yet and I'm sure he's busy as hell. When looking at this thread...why the hell would he?

I've gotten a few real celebrities to join here so at least I'm contributing you know. I'm trying to help and provide info for everyone so it doesn't help when people get negative. I got someone else now who I know 100% for sure is real to come here. He's not someone who's a household name and it's not associated with a Marvel film but it will be on these boards real soon. Maybe tomorrow. You'll know it when it happens.

Those are the "most likely" real ones for sure but Leterrier's is real and he doesn't have a regular website nor does Story or Favreau though they have fan sites. Casper's is real and it is attached to his site and he did join here. The Brandon Routh one was a freaking joke. My bad big time it appears but Chris Evans site looks damn real. Look at it who would get those pics unless it's a personal friend of his. I do realize some of the ones that have been verified as real by the celebs themselves are also run by a publicist part time to keep it active. I know of a few of those but won't mention them and they're not any I've linked here before. The coolest thing about myspace is you can find people on there that really aren't looking for attention but created an account to sort of browse around freely not realizing you can search by their name even though their screen name is different. That's how I found Louis and a few others associated with Marvel films who's names are not in the limelight but have more to do with the films than anyone else. Sure there are thousnads of frauds but I'm learning each day how to get these verified via there other friends who are...as you kind of suggested.

Hopefully he makes it over here. I guess I could ask Tim if it's his site. In fact...I will to be sure but those pics are damn too personal for just anyone to have.

Yep that probably is him judging from all of that hot tail trying talk to him.

I told you. It's gotta be him. The girls on there who said they saw him are from Canada and his top friends are all buddies in his pics. It's too weird not to be him.

Hey Chris give us hollar! LOL

FINAL WARNING for EVERYONE!

Knock it off... or this thread is closed!

^ That's their goal but you know what it's probably best now. It's officially ruined.

Probably if and when any of the actor's, director's or whoever from the film come calling. They will probably get in touch with the site operators, and the site operator's will make the plans, threads etc. Its probably safer, and they would probably be more apt to come. Kinda like a question and answer type thing, rather than just show up on a whim. I could see that happening.

That's true, like if they just showed up at a store to do an autograph session without talking to the store owner first. *Shrug*

Not true. Maybe sometimes but that's not how Leterrier got here or several others. Sure we can all sit back and hope that's the case...or we could be pro-active and not turn this board into a cesspool and maybe just maybe we'll attract more people here by asking. You never know until you ask and if you invite someone no matter how likely...it's more likely they'll show up than if they weren't invited. I know for a fact of many other directors, producers, screenwriters etc...scan these boards on a regular basis without ever posting a single message. If we as fans find them and ask them to join it could very well work. Not all the time...but sometimes and that's better than nothing. I can tell you one thing for certain complaining about someones effort to bring someone here is not very productive and doesn't make the boards a better place. Nobody said that your'e required to do things by joining here...you can just observe all day long if you wish, but at the same time don't try to derail other peoples efforts cause you don't agree. Move on. Just a general statement no fingers pointed about any individual cause I've noticed this in many many threads throughout these boards. I might flat out be proven wrong or completely fail 90% of the time in trying to get someone to join these boards and make this place more fun...it's the 10% we're looking for. Right?

I don't know who that guy is, but ok. I'm sorry but if one of the actors showed up around here, it would be mayhem, and fiasco all rolled up into one without some kind of organization to it. Too many freaks around. Sorry, but thats just how I see it.

I guess some question motive maybe. Whatever, hey if Chris shows up, more power to him. :yay:

^ You don't think that's what they want. If I were the studios I'd tell the actors to send over a post now and then. Maybe not do Q & A's direclty on the board but just post something to kind of rub up against the fans. Leterrier is the director of the upcoming Hulk film. I also got Casper Van Dien to join here which is cool for Starship Troopers fans to say the least. In both cases everything's been organized just fine. Now if Chris Evans came I think people would calm down and organize their emotions a bit and try to post productive questions. I think it would create alot of hype and excitement. But hey let's not argue about what if's. Mark Steven Johnson comes here from time to time (director of Ghost Rider) and things are fine when he was here too. It's just about being mature. I think even if Hugh Jackman came here or Bryan Singer things would be fine. However in their cases it would be impossible to do a live Q & A and it would be easier for the mods to let us ask one question each and after the post count in a thread hits' a certain # it could be locked allowing the actor or director to skim through and answer whatever he/she wants.

I honestly could type about this topic till my fingers fall off...but dont' really want to. I think you're not giving enough credit though to the board members. They're not a bunch of mindless children they can behave.

Stranger things have happened....

I belong to several other boards, one of which was brought to my attention because one of the posters on another board said that she had someone visiting her Nip/Tuck fan forum where she moderates signing in as Ryan Murphy, creator/writer/exec producter/director of the show, or showrunner as he calls it. She was skeptical at first because this is strictly a privately owned board and the FX networks has their own MB for the show, which is pretty chaotic since they don't hire moderators.

Anyway, she even went so far as to e-mail the studio and got in touch with his assistant, who confirmed that he was indeed going to the website to gauge the fans' opinions. He visits there just about every day and even gives out advance spoilers to the show. He is even going to name one episode after a combination of 2 of the moderator's names (the episode title is always the name of a patient)

I understand where you are coming from, unfortunately it only takes a couple to bring havoc. This board has seen that, a few times. 99% of the posters here are great, and I've enjoyed reading their posts. I still believe that the mods should be the ones to coordinate this type of thing. Thats really my only point. I think with the mods working at the forefront, the problems could be taken care of quickly and specifically.

Theres no need for anymore explanation, I understand your point.:yay:

Yeah once the actors or talent is here the mods should coordinate it when they can...but they don't. It's not the mods job to go outside of this board to find people. That's just something I love to do. It's a challenge and it's fun. Some people get more enjoyment out of tearing down other peoples efforts.
