Ok, does it deserve, say, a 9/10?
I'd give it a 9 out of 10. I love the graphics, the combat, the city design, the character design, the free running, the assassination missions, the controls, the fluid animations.
I understand it's the same pre-assassination missions over and over again. But you don't have to do them all. I did everything the first time through, but the second time I did what I wanted to do and it was just as fun. It's not like these repititive missions are long and boring. Sit on a bench, watch a 30 second cut scene, end. Oo so boring and stupid

The actual Assassination missions were fantastic. Especially the banquet one with the fat guy.
I thoroughly enjoyed AC. The time period and free running around the unique open city design is well worth the price. It has a great feel to it. I love the one button fighting, no game has ever had great sword fighting, at least this game had dynamic sword fighting.
9/10 for me. And you can punch a horse, how fun is that?
